First either you or your teacher was not paying attention. In 1919 the world was in the grips of one of the worst pandemics ever and the 1919 Cup final was cancelled when players also came down with the Spanish Flu.

BTW the Seattle team of that year was the transferred Vancouver Millionaire's team and as the home team I think they would have eventually won.

Yeah, I'm sorry, but you're wrong in everything you just said. lol

What strike are you talking about? The league (I think it was the NHA before it became the NHL) wasn't even unionized, so how can a strike take place? The only reason why there was no Cup was because of the Spanish Flu outbreak. Also, if I remember correctly from my sociology class, the concept of unions weren't even around back then.

Where do you live and go to school? I'm going to tell your teacher off for misfeeding such important information...

I thought there was a flu epidemic in 1919, and that being the reason the cup was not won.

Flip a coin. It is impossible to know.

And in case you didn't know, the Stanley Cup that year was canceled because of an influenza epidemic that killed one of their players, not because of strikes or the war.

I didn't think Seattle had a team in 1919.
