I was walking my dog on a trail in Colorado around Boulder and my dog (2 feet in front of me) started sniffing a snake. I called her away and she left and there was no problem. I didn't stick around to study the snake but my best guess by the markings is that it was a rattle snake (I did not see a rattle but I didn't stay to look). If this were the case I would be surprised that a rattle snake would not strike in a situation like this. Does anyone know more about this than me?

I'd like to know the "scientific" principles behind stabilization of the fats in cheese when it melts. I'm interested in making some cheese sauces that don't separate when they melt, cool, or are re-heated. Sort of like a fondue (which I don't know how to make either, but that's another question!) :)
What is it that I add to melting cheese to keep it from separating so I can have some tasty homemade cheese dip? Thanks!!

I also don't drink milk, I drink soy milk.
I've been vegetarian for about 3 weeks now (and I admit, since I have started I have eaten chicken about 3-5 times).
I noticed my skin is significantly clearer of acne, but I'm worried that it's making my boobs smaller..

I bought Nero 7 premium , but when i try to install it my serial code doesn't work? So is there any way I can complete the installation without the code or find the code somewhere on the disc?

I feel like I'm living a double standard. My pledge is to keep my virginity until marriage for my future wife. But then, I remember, when I was 12, me and my childhood best friend (sweetheart, whatever) tried to see how it feels to kiss. We did it in the hayloft of our barn. I ,as a Veteran from 1969 to 1975, brought an Islamic beliving man into my American Legion. This man is a decent hard working man. You'd think I had a disease the way everyone looked at me. Why would they get upset over me bring in a law abiding decent person into the legion?

My husband is joining the Army NG or the Reserves. He is excited & ready to go to war if that occurs he is either choosing Computer Programming or Visual Information Operator. I am so afraid of him going to war and being apart for so long. We have a 5 month old little girl and I don't want her to loose her bond with her dad. For years now she has been trying to break us apart...saying things to family and the children about us to cause a bunch of friction...it has in fact made life hard on all, especially the kids. When my husband and I first got together, I would stand up to her and then over time I thought silence would be kinder...it has gotten worse. She told my husband last Friday that she is taking him to court for child support...he is a month ahead...for her car...she was supposed to refinance it but never did.she did this in a music store where one of kids has lessons, all he had asked her was if she was meeting us half way on Sunday. At one of the other kids football games yesterday, she was continuously bashing him to the kids and they were uncomfortable, I was mad. Today her car wouldn't start, she did end up meeting us, my husband ran over and helped her look at what was wrong..I think we just should have taken the kids home, she was yelling at him that she knew he had jumper cables, they

I own a 2007 nissan altima. I love it! However, the brakes squeal. I have been to the dealership twice and they said that in the morning, the brakes may squeal due to condensation in the morning; however, it is not just in the morning anymore. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

When we first moved in, we started helping our neighbor by taking her garbage out, opening the door for her, helping her up the stairs.
Now she demands help and gets frustrated if she does not get what she wants. She can come over at 11 pm, usually we go to bed at 10. My husband generally spends up to 45 min. every other night fixing her apartment of listening to her complain. We cannot not open the door, because she knows that we are here.
She wants rides from me (even though she has her children living in the area and she is eligible for a senior pick up). She is too lazy to call the service. When I offer to call, she gets angry. I do not want to be a personal cab!

We are still willing to do the fast chores for her, but the rest is too much. Her children visit maybe once a week, so she is pretty much our responsibility. How to stop this? It is hard to reason with the lady, we need to get involved a third party.
