With appendix the pain often starts in the middle of the abdomen and goes to the right side as the appendix swells the pain is more intense and you will start vomiting. In the ambulance we give pain relief and some maxolon which is an anti emetic to stop you from vomiting while you are awaiting surgery. If the appendix bursts you will then have peritonitis which is very life threatening. GET TO THE ER NOW

If you over over 50 one likely answer is a gall bladder problem. It will reoccur. Getting a doctor to look at it is easy and they can tell in a minute from the exact location whether it is gall bladder. If they think so they will check further by x-ray.

If you jump straight up and the pain gets stronger, it's your appendix and you need to go to the ER.

Thats where your appendix is. So yeah, get it checked out. You don't want that to burst. If it does it releases toxins, you go septic, and then die. Or it could just be gastro problems.
