I have 3 boys, Isaiah, Elijah, and Khalid. If its a girl we want to name it Kamaniya, but we are having a hard time with a K name that is about as common as Khalid.

I have a large portfolio of stocks that I bought several months ago and I have huge profits on paper. If I sell now, I will have to pay a 28% cap gains tax on it, so I am wondering how long I should hold these stocks in order to qualify for the much lower long term cap gains tax rate. Thanks for your help.

...the exact date I was baptized? I know it was a few Sundays before Mother's Day of this year, but I just can't remember exactly which one. I remember the date I was saved, which was January 12, 2007 in the middle of a very emotional night between me and God. I thought I would always remember te day I got baptized, but I don't. See, my baptism was just to show the world that I belonged to God. The day I remember so well is the one that changed my life and the person I am. So, is it horrible that I don't remember or is it okay because the day that is really important is the day God saved me?

I have a water outlet for a washer in my new house but the idiots who installed it didn't put a trap in there to prevent sewer gas. (wasn't able to discover it until a year after i bought the house and got a washer). Is there any way, other than ripping out the walls to redo the pipes, to put some sort of trap ?

I am house hunting in Mississippi. After MONTHS of looking, I just found the perfect house! Problem is that it is sale pending.
Situation: No Realtor in town knew about the house until Tuesday. That is the same day it was released into MLS, put on websites, and got a "Sale Pending" sign in the yard (neve had a "for sale" sign). I thought it was funny that it could have sold so quickly. So, I begain digging. I found out that the buyer had the seller do work on the house, the work was already completed and there was a closeing date set on the house, before Tuesday, the day it went for sale to the public.
I believe there is a law that says that when a realter lists a home, they have hours or a day to make that listing public, not weeks.
What can I do? Even though it is too late to get the house, I want to report the realtor for these shady practices!

Okay so i live in texas, and iam really looking for a yorkie! I really dont know where to start looking, so any tips would be greatly appreciated! I'm 17, she's 24. When she was 14, she made mistakes, joined bad crowds, lied, was mean to me. Our parents ended up giving her a harsh punishment, though she apologized and promised to change. She got devastated because they said she had lost their trust and their trust was very important to her. I remember this broke her spirit, she suffred a lot but my parents were firm and it took months for them to trust her again. She changed, ended up being a great sister, made our parents proud but never made up w/ them, even today she thinks they were cruel, unforgiving, broke her spirit, didn't act as loving parents. Their attempts to make up with her didn't work. Today she's graduated, has a good job, still a great sister but hasn't talked with our parents for more than 2 years. She's about to get married and her in laws love her. Unfortunately mom is dying and wants to see her but she refuses, says it'll be kinda painful for both. I begged but she refused, see no point in this.
