I am a sophomore Biochemistry student with a pre-med track..I go to a really good science school but I haven't been happy here ever since I started college. The school is a small school but pretty selective with their admissions...I am from the city the school is in and I know the area, so I don't feel homesick. I just think the school never suited me well and it caters to a certain crowd..but I am thinking of transfering from this school to another but it is a liberal arts college, about the same price..and their academics aren't as tough nor do they have a selective admissions process...Is it wise to leave my school so I can be happy and have a less impressive profile for medical school..or is it best that I stay here, have an impressive profile and be in a bad mood everytime I am here.. I don't want to make the wrong decision..but I want to be happy and wise at the same time.

Other than going to the library or asking politely for some quiet time (both of which I do from time to time), are there any methods that work for focusing in such an evironment? One idea I thought of is putting on headphones with music that does not distract you (lyricless, but not sure where to find this music..). Any tips?

My allergies have been so bad lately. My nose gets clogged up and runs horribly. This happens especially after I get out of the shower for some reason. It happens other times though too. I can drive around with the top down fine, but when im sitting watching tv my nose goes nuts. I take a Claritin when I can, and sometimes use nostril spray. Any other suggestions/recommendations? Thanks!

everytime i see the question (like 23 times a week) i think: o god (no pun intended) again!!! but (dont know exactly why) i cant help but answering it...is there a cure for that "answering urge", is the question: why are atheists in this section" highly addictive? what would become of yahoo answers if someone every 15 minutes didnt ask the question? Would we atheists loose a reason for living?

I just looked at the final standings and no team had a winning percentage of less than .407 or higher than .593 (i.e., the worst team didn't have fewer than 66 wins and the best team didn't have more than 96 wins). Can any of the regular contributors here remember such a year where the teams winning records' had such relative parity? Or at least a year where no team either won or lost 100 games or more? In other words, is this the most "equal" distribution of teams there has ever been in a season? Thanks!

Ok I bought a Airlink101 AR525W router. I have cable internet. When installed the router correctly and stuff, the router is always restarting and I don't know why. So I returned it. My old router works fine, it is a D-Link DI-624 rev C. I bought a new router so then I can have a better wireless range since my wireless range for my D-Link DI-624 isn't as far as a few years back when I bought it.
So do you guys know what happened? Is it because I have Cable internet?
I'm know planning to buy a Airlink101 AR525W(again) and a Airlink101 AWLH5026. Do you think that combo will work fine?

In my econ class, I need to write about four factors of production. I know they are Land, Labor, Capital, and Management. However, I need to related this to kitchen, and I am sort of confused.

Here's the question description:

Economists sometimes compare a household to a factory or business. Consider your kitchen. Now, think about how the four factors of production are used in your kitchen (be specific)? Who is the entrepreneur? Can you relate this to the production possibilities frontier (hint: using the oven to bake one thing means...)?

Any ideas on that?

I went to an outlet bakery, where they sell overstocked bakery goods, and for $6 bought a fullsized devil's food cake, a box of 12 assorted doughnuts, a fullsized coffee cake, and a box of hot cross buns.
I'm not going to eat it all....just some of it. I will share the rest.
Does that sound like a good deal? They are all fresh. What you buy a deal like that? Would you be tempted to eat it?
