The Catholic Church adopted Paul as the foundation of the church with Augustine. There's very little Jesus in Christianity.

Paul --a Hellenized Jewish psychological who some pupils now declare replaced into gay--thank you to somewhat the mysogyny in his writings--(word that: countless the financial supporters and leaders interior the very early Chrisitian flow have been females) developed a definite kind of Christianity. What grew to grow to be Christianity replaced right into a kind that replaced into development interior the mid east and Mediterranean in all probability from regarding the third century BC. a number of it replaced into tied into Greco-Roman secret religions that have been quasi monotheistic, some from countless sorts of Gnosticism or vintage Hermeticism or mystical Judaism. The paradigm customary by using Paul, in spite of the undeniable fact that, took over for some reason. The Gnostics, who observed the Christ tale as metaphor, have been censored, and over the years, what we've been left with replaced into an somewhat exoteric, administration-based politicized faith. The reason? i think of Paul somewhat believed he had a revelation and interpreted the message in accordance to his very own custom and psychology.

Paul told us the answers to this himself:
Co 3:11
For other foundation can no man lay than
that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Eph 2:20
And are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself
being the chief corner stone;

The Christians in Antioch were followers of Peter and the elders of Jerusalem, not Paul. When the Christians were first called "Christians" in Antioch, Paul was living quietly at home in Tarsus. He remained there for some twelve years until the Antiochian Christians decided to summon him to Antioch.

He was a man like many other men. What was different about Paul is that God picked him to be an Apostle after the Ascension.
So what difference does that make?
I think many people have to check themselves, really check themselves.
Paul was special to God. He may not be special to anyone else, but to God he was special. That makes a difference to me, no one else has to think that, but I do.
When God does things with a man and elevates him to the status of 'Prophet' or 'Apostle' every Christian wants to listen, except for the case of Paul. He's different to them. He's not in line according to what James said.
Who's James? A relative of Jesus. The 'human' side of Jesus. His half brother. One of the half brothers who counted themselves as 'family'. The one's who thought that Jesus was crazy, so they came to get him out of people's way, fearing trouble would come.
Mark 3:21
When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind."
And after Jesus ascended, was it James who was chosen an Apostle like Paul was? No. James was not an Apostle. In fact, when James was in the temple, he was so Legalistic that he could worship in the temple according to the old ways of the Law without disturbing the Jews, which is something that Paul wasn't able to do.
Why?
Because Paul didn't preach what James preached. He was rightfully accused of preaching against the Law of Moses and the circumcision. Paul preached grace, and so did Jesus. In fact, Paul told everyone at the beginning of his letters who he was from:
Philippians 1
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1
2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 1
1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God—
And so on. He was placed where he was because God wanted him to be placed where he was. But I see so many who call themselves Christian who deny his authority, his eloquence, his ability to communicate the Types and Shadows from the Old Testament better than any of the others displayed.
But Christians, many of them, seem ignorant, even being glib about Paul's apparent wandering from the truth.
To them I would say, "You don't understand Jesus, if you don't understand Paul, and the other way around as well."
I hold back a lot of anger at many Christians because of the inability to believe God. They doubt his selection of Paul like the Children of Israel doubted salvation from the Egyptians, even after being shown so much truth and power.
How many times must a Christian be shown God's power before they believe God?

The life and message of Jesus. Paul's theology is just an elaboration of the gospel message. Christianity is not a religion of the book (Bible) but of the Word (Jesus Christ).

"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and imposters led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." --- Thomas Jefferson
“The son-ship of Jesus Christ is the greatest fiction of human history.” (Lord Bishop of Canterbury Commission, the Spiritual Head of England, 1910.)
“The son-ship of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, the blood sacrifice of the lamb of God, atonement are not the teachings of Jesus. These are all inventions of Saint Paul who never really met Jesus.” (Hastings Rashdall, The Theory of Good and Evil)
"Initially there were 34 gospels that were compiled by word of mouth. Four were chosen for unclear reasons and 30 were left behind [burned]. (Encyclopedia Britannica)
“There is strong reason to believe that St. Paul fabricated the belief system of Christianity from Zoroastrian mythology. In order to hide Paul’s plaigerism… Christians burned the library of Alexandria in 390 A.D. Books in that library kept Mithra’s original story of what Pauline Doctrine is an almost exact copy. Paul was an apostle called by Christ. He brought us many of the books that became our new testament. Little surprise that someone desires to call his writings into question.
