Ok I bought a Airlink101 AR525W router. I have cable internet. When installed the router correctly and stuff, the router is always restarting and I don't know why. So I returned it. My old router works fine, it is a D-Link DI-624 rev C. I bought a new router so then I can have a better wireless range since my wireless range for my D-Link DI-624 isn't as far as a few years back when I bought it.
So do you guys know what happened? Is it because I have Cable internet?
I'm know planning to buy a Airlink101 AR525W(again) and a Airlink101 AWLH5026. Do you think that combo will work fine?

The router was most likely restarting because of faulty hardware and/or faulty firmware. Have you tried seeing if you have the most current firmware available?

Also just a note: While MIMO technology does provide a greater range in an OPEN area, there is no guarantee that in a home, with walls and other RF Interference, that the signal will be any better.

I love the Dlink di-624 perdonally, especially for adding usb network storage, if you have the 624s model that is.

If d-link has worked good for you why not try a d-link draft n router and adapter?
