Megalomania is an unrealistic belief in one's superiority, grandiose abilities, and even omnipotence. It is characterized by a need for total power and control over others, and is marked by a lack of empathy for anything that is perceived as not feeding the self.

Or is it the followers?

If the god of Arbraham is the same god for the Jews, the Christians, and the Muslims, then why on earth is religon used by man as a weapon against mankind in the name of God? It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to declare a holy war against followers of the same deity, or could it be taht God is so freaking needy for attention that He deliberately pits people against one another by telling one group one thing and then changing the story and telling another group something else? It this all a game to Him? And if it isn't, then since He made the mess why doesn't He fix it if He's supposed to be all high and mighty powerful? Or is it just all made up fantasy and if so why, if man created this monsterous lie, can't man take it back?

During the summer I only wear sandals and flip flops so my feet can breath. Now with the colder weather upon us I've been trying to wear socks again with my sneakers and my feet are itching uncontrobably. What can I do so my feet don't itch so bad and get through the day with socks on? And I don't have athelet's foot or some type of fungus on my feet either.

A married couple decides to get separate bank accounts and agrees to pay the common bills (mortgage, electric, etc.), but will pay their own individual accounts (car, credit cards, etc.). The wife loves to buy home décor and furniture for their new home, but the husband could care less about any of that. He’d much rather put $100 or so in his bank account and spend the rest having fun (eating out, drinking with friends, sporting events, etc.). One day the wife finds a formal dining set for $1,500. Hi! I believe that my Beta fish has come down with velvet. He has been acting a little more lethargic then usual and has been rubbing himself on the shells I have. I used a flashlight and noticed a little bit of gold speckling on his chest near his gills, which is exactly where he is always scratching himself (I am thinking I caught it relatively early on)

I live in student housing and so my mom bought me some of those General Cure tablets for things such as Velvet, Hole-in-the-head etc.

I was reading up on Oodinium online and people were saying that you should add salf to the water and heat it up to like.. 70.

My "tank" for him is pretty primitive - it is a large bowl with pebbles and shells - is it important to add salt in order to kill the bacteria in the water, and should I look into getting a heater for him so to prevent him from getting sick?

Any advice would be great - thanks! =)

In a 2 double bedroom house with a couple and a single person sharing, should the rent be split 3 ways or should the single person be paying more cos he/she is getting a big room to him/herself and the couple is basically 2 people for one room? So say the monthly rent is 750, split 3 ways its 250 each, so basically the single is paying 250 a month and the couple 500 a month.

It's my first semester in a community college and already I'm in trouble. The english 1 class I am taking requires that I have no missing work in order to pass. Well, because of work and my stupidity, I forgot to turn in a paper. Now there's no way I can pass even with a C, since all your papers have to be accepted and I'm missing one.
So, this isn't even my real college. I'm just trying to get my basics here and then I'll transfer into a four year college in two years. So should I drop the class? Or just flunk out with an F and try again next semester or over the summer?

IMy 15 year old daughter just came to live with me. She lived with her father from age 10 to 15. We were living with my parents and moved out this past weekend.

I have to get stuff for her room like a bed and desk.

In the meantime, she keeps saying that she hates it here where we are living and does not study. She throws tantrums every evening and says that she is going to fail her classes and then accomplishes nothing.

She then asks me to help her and does not listen when I try to explain her things She uses her energy to throw things around and scream at me and then she does absolutely nothing.

How should I handle her? She keeps telling me the bad things that I have done in the past and does not study.

I end up begging her to study because I am concerned for her GPA and how she will go to college. Should I leave her alone or push her to study?
