It is a researched fact that people will have a stronger memory of situations where extreme emotion is involved, whether that emotion be fear, anger, love, or joy. Extremely emotional events are "imprinted" on locations in a similar way. There have been reports of people who have seen or heard the "ghosts" of past events on the site where the event occurred. In some cases, only one "ghostly" individual may appear, and in others, an entire scene may play out.
These are not what most paranormal researchers would call ghosts, but rather refections of past events that are appearing to people as an echo. There are no spirits involved. It is like a faded film of an event that occurred before.
Since violent death can be considered a very emotional event, it is possible that a "ghost event" may appear at the site of that death. This would not be specific to a certain region of the world, like the Middle East.
Spirits can continue to hold on to Earthly resentments and they can continue to love or hate just has they did when they were alive. Spirits following a specific religion is an interesting thought, but I would think that a death experience would bring some form of enlightenment to the spirits that may cause them to question the specifics of their faith.

I am in the belief that if a person is killed in a violent manner then they are more likly to stay behind.
I think that this not the same as a residual haunting, a haunting that is a mier impression in the place and time, but a general vaild haunting!!
If a persons death was quick they are mostly unaware of there own passing so they tend to hang around!!
I am not sure if Moslem and Jewish ghosts even come into contact with eachother in the other relem!! I think that if one saw another they might have a chat or just pass eachother!!
I think that ghosts are to vauge and hard to track to really know the right answer!!

This is a good question. A general view is if the person died violently they may haunt through their choosing or the general diraction of the cosmos. I believe however the person has choice on haunting or not. Spirits come back becuase they dont know they are dead or because they have a deep attachment to a particular house or belonging. they maybe near by to a loved one.
Occasionally spirits will contact someone through feelings if the human is perceptive enough. For example a friends husband suicided two years ago and she through out some old things including a very old chair. I saw this chair on the side of the street and picked it up with the intention of having it done up and reupholstered. I got a good feeling as if someone was cheering and saying good on ya take my chair. I love chairs and was happy to get it. I contacted my friend who said she hoped someone would pick it up and do something with it. Ghosts are also personality driven with a memory of soughts I believe and they can have some choice in returning to the living or going off to another world with other spirits or relations who have crossed over. Good question very thought provoking.

It's difficult to know if a person who dies in any particular way affects their new life form or spirit. I would imagine that those who have committed suicide might be given a harder time for taking the easier way out by those who have already passed. Some cultures seem to believe that the spirit stays closer to their deceased bodies. I seriously doubt that they need to do this anyway. Some deceased may want others to find their remains when they were lost in death. This might just have to do with closure for all those who grieve. I would imagine that there are ghostly enemies on many sides but whether they can cause each other any real pain or suffering is also unclear.
If the Army was truly using psychics such as remote viewers in this current war you would think they would be more successful by now. Perhaps it has always been their objective to stay there as a permanent military presence in Iraq.

Good questions. Yes I think resentments in the physical realm would continue into the world of spirit, at least in the kind of limbo that ghosts are supposed to inhabit. I would have hoped that in surviving death you would become an enlightened being but who knows, there are few things as intractable as human stupidity.
Also the question about violent deaths and ghosts I believe is supported at least anecdotally. Most of the hauntings you hear about are of people who lived traumatic lives or died traumatic deaths.
Personally I'm convinced that death is the end, but then I'll know for sure once I die!

Building on the "there are no haunted places, only haunted people" idea, violent or unusual deaths are "good copy." A story about someone who bled to death is far more interesting than a story about someone who died of old age in their sleep. Such interesting stories are more ripe for the imagination to conjure up horror stories. And that's all ghost stories really are.

I believe that unfinished business is what keeps someone's spirit here. A sudden, violent death creates more opportunity for unfinished business. I believe though that soon after we return to spirit we are able to see the big picture and let go of earthly resentments and hatreds

No, absolutely not, and here is the reason.
Quite a few of the ghosts in the middle east are suicide bombers. These guys do ghost suicide bombs and kill all large groups of the other ghosts. Thus the ghost population in the middle east tends to be kept to a minimal.

I do not think that violent deaths result in being a ghost. I think no matter how you die, it won't result in more ghosts. It's not like if you die violently you will turn into 2 ghosts.

Violent sudden death is more likely to result in a ghost because they may not know they are dead or they have unfinished business.
