Megalomania is an unrealistic belief in one's superiority, grandiose abilities, and even omnipotence. It is characterized by a need for total power and control over others, and is marked by a lack of empathy for anything that is perceived as not feeding the self.

Some of the followers DEFINITELY are. Look at Benny Hinn.

As for the Abrahamic god, well, if he exists then yes he is a megalomaniac.

Can't quite see where this Christian God has total power and control over what people are doing in this world. Just the opposite.

Nope because He is superior, in the end all will bow their knee. Even those who hate Him.
