I am interested in learning what form 1449 details...I thought it had something to do with patent law.

Here is a link to the US Patent Office forms page. All of these forms are downloadable. Unfortunately, I don't see any listing for a Form 1449.

What is 1449? It is not a patent number. If you know more details about the patent, like the number, title, inventor, etc, you can go to:
http://www.uspto.ogv
or
http://www.google.com/patents
to search for it.

Go to your country's federal "Intellectual Property office" website and browse for patents, then follow instructions
