You know there are a lot of false , twisted or mixed doctrines , hypocrites , in general people who are not being or who have not been properly disciplined in Christ , false prophets , etc these days and they are also in the Church
What I'm trying to say is don't just worry about marks of a true Church , but a true Christian and true Christianity as well

a true church? wow, how many answers do you expect on this.?? It's like asking
ok which one of you out there thinks they're right... LOL
All the hands go up..
since religion as a whole can't be proved right because it's a belief.. the answer on which one is right must be....the one you believe in because people wouldn't choose the wrong one on purpose. Maybe one is chosen out of lack of knowledge or strickly to follow a friend or family member but everyone thinks their religion is the true one.

The true marks of a church are this: any congregation of people getting together with similar beliefs and worshiping.
That's it.

Megalomania is an unrealistic belief in one's superiority, grandiose abilities, and even omnipotence. It is characterized by a need for total power and control over others, and is marked by a lack of empathy for anything that is perceived as not feeding the self.

first of all sort through all the blah, blah, blah of the negative rhetoric on R&S.
A church that doesn't rely on rituals, or statues to make it look good on the outside. Religion is mans rituals and attempts to make himself look good to others. Relationship with Jesus is a church that puts gods word first, celebrates the Lord without selfish ambitions or assumptions. They put aside themself to love one another in truth and grace. I come from a nondenominational charasmatic church (labels aside), of which we worship the one that came to give us life and abundantly. We openly pray for one another, our nation, those that persecute us, and aren't ashamed to show the love and grace Christ has given us, nor are we ashamed to speak openly. Blessings!

One that comes together with one accord.
One that is on fire for God.
One that teaches the true word of God.
One that isn't after the glory, but gives God all glory.
