Miracle-Gro has instituted a ban on employee smoking, and America's Next Top Model has done the same. Should businesses be able to fire employees for engaging in legal activities on their private time? PLEASE NOTE that I do not refer to activities which pose security risks or safety risks (i.e. drinking two hours before flying a plane). If possible, please state your job and whether or not bans exist which apply to your free time and legal activities.

so i was at a party the other day and the cops showed up. everyone jumped the fence and ran. i lost both my shoes, my ipod, and a few other things from my purse. the cops have my ipod now but i don't know if there's any way for me to get it back now without being accused of running from them.. any suggestions?

believe that homosexuality is not wrong? You are not a true Christian I am sorry to say, That is not my opinion, but a fact according to the BIBLE, which is GODS word. that does not mean that you hate homosexuals, it just means that you hate the sin. And to say live and let live is wrong because as a Christian we are supposed to let our brothers and sisters know that sins are wrong and will keep them from going to Heaven

like honestly, i think i met Mr. Right, lol... i mean seriously, the nicest man i think i have ever met, doesnt care about my past, and well, i am overlooking him because he is not my type.. i mean, he is SHORT and im not very attracted to him, BUT i think i love him? why am i so vain.. he would be the perfect undercover boyfriend, lol... i am just ashamed to be seen in public with him, because i have standards to hold, i mean, i am in all honesty, not trying to sound full of myself, but i am physically gorgeous, and well, i am known to date the most gorgeous men, i feel like i CANT be seen with him, what would people think? but more so, why do i care? why am i so vain, and is there ANYTHING that can be done about it?

I ordered a crate amp off of ebay.com and the guy said its got a 3 year warranty that goes with it. But then he said that a technician just opened it to fix a sticky channel selector button, so would that void the warranty? Thanks.

to recomment to a friend. She has been dealing w/ an out of control, drug addict, alcoholic son for almost 10 years now. She has tried to get him help but nothing has worked so far. This is really affecting her everyday life and it would be great if someone that has gone through a similar situation could recommend a place where she, herself can get counseling to deal with this issue.

If THEY could be saved without so much as ever HEARING of Christ, then why did Jesus need to die? And if baptism into Christ only became neccessary AFTER Christ's ressurection, didn't His coming actually make things WORSE...?!? The loyal Jews who died before Christ came either went to Heaven or to Hell... if they went to Heaven, then faith in Christ is unneccessary. If they went to Hell, then Christ should've come a lot earlier, so they could've been saved too! If Christ is so darned important, how come nobody heard of him in the time of Abraham and Moses? They thought obeying YHVH loyally was enough, and He never said a word to inform them otherwise... (P.S. if you say that Christ came to them after their deaths and gave them the word, then you contradict the words of the New Testament, which teach no second chance after death. And if THEY got a second chance, why not US?!?)
