Both players are disgruntled with their teams... So I guess the trade is not that far. Kirilenko as Deron Williams pointed out is not an enthusiastic practice player with Phoenix known to have long rest days to preserve their knees for running Kirilenko is good fit for them. Marion on the other hand would be a great fit for a structured well organized team as the Jazz because they would benefit from Marion's hard-working tenacity.
Hope this helps.

Stawik S. Why include Kidd? Just to rmind you Kidd was the instrumental leader in your 2002 and 2003 Finals appearances... Yes I do believe that New Jersey needs to twitch it's line-up a li'l more but Kidd should be not be moved. He is a great leader for this club.
To the answerer below me: Marion is not a center. He is a natural Small Forward converted to Power Forward... very much like Odom just to show you how versatile Marion is.

I sure hope so. This is the talked about trade I am most excited for. I like both teams and would feel kind of bad for the Suns. I guess AK47 will get to shoot the ball more in Phoenix though. Not exactly his game but what he seems to want. AK47s attitude is the only reason why I fear any team getting him. Especially after being on a likely future contender.I don't think it will be much better with all the talent in Phoenix. He might not even start if Boris Diaw plays better. Marion is perfect fit for Utah. The fans will love him, Sloan will love him, and the whole management. He will be big in Utah and may be the key to beating the Spurs.

As a Suns fan I hate to see Marion go. I'm rooting for the Suns and without Marion I fear they'll fall short. Marion does so much for the team. Kirilenko is one of the few players that have the ability to match many of Marion's skills. I like Kirilenko, but I'm concerned about his state of mind and dedication. I think Kirilenko could self-implode at any time. I don't like the trade, but if Marion has to be traded then this would be a decent choice.

Although I'm not a big fan of Lakers but I think if Marion goes there, the Lakers could be unstoppable. Can't imagine what kind of damage when Kobe, Marion and Odom are together.

Marion needs to stop crying and just stay with the Suns. That's his best chance at getting a ring and should keep playing with the most unselfish point guard in the leauge. Just because his feelings are hurt doesn't mean he can just demand a trade. Actually I hope he does get traded....to the Bucks...LOL

he would be a great fit for the lakers but it's only his choice on where he wants to go, but i read on nba.com that he's already called kobe and they talked about him joining the lakers and kobe is all for it but there has to probably be some big trades to come about in order for that to happendso who knows.
