LOUISIANA GHOST STORY

This happened about a month ago just outside of Cocodrie, a little town
in the bayou country of Louisiana, and while it sounds like an Alfred
Hitchcock tale, it's real.

This out of state traveler was on the side of the road,
hitchhiking on a real dark night in the middle of a thunderstorm. Time
passed slowly and no cars went by. It was raining so hard he could
hardly see his hand in front of his face.

Suddenly he saw a car moving slowly, approaching and appearing
ghostlike in the rain. It slowly and silently crept toward him and
stopped.

Wanting a ride real bad the guy jumped in the car and closed the door;
only then did he realize that there was nobody behind the wheel, and no
sound of an engine to be heard over the rain.

Again the car crept slowly forward and the guy was terrified, too
scared to think of jumping out and running. The guy saw that the car
was
approaching a sharp curve and, still too scared to jump out, he started
to pray and begging for his life; he was sure the ghost car would go
off
the road and in the bayou and he would surely drown!

But just before the curve a shadowy figure appeared at the driver's
window and a hand reached in and turned the steering wheel, guiding the
car safely around the bend. Then, just as silently, the hand
disappeared
through the window and the hitchhiker was alone again!

Paralyzed with fear, the guy watched the hand reappear every time they
reached a curve. Finally the guy, scared to near death, had all he
could
take and jumped out of the car and ran to town.

Wet and in shock, he went into a bar and voice quavering, ordered two
shots of whiskey, then told everybody about his supernatural
experience.


A silence enveloped and everybody got goose bumps when they realized
the guy was telling the truth (and not just some drunk).

About half an hour later two guys walked into the bar and one says to
the other, "Look Boudreaux, ders dat idiot that rode in our car when we
wuz pushin it in the rain."

I have a female Siberian Husky. She just turned 6 months old. How do you tell when she is in heat? how long it lasts? And can someone guide me through what happens during her heat? Do I need to do something during this whole process?
She will be spayed after her first heat.
Approximately how much does the operation costs?
How do I care for her after the operation? is there anything special I can do for her when she gets home? and how long is the recovery time after the operation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated....! =)

I just looked up my cousin and his earliest possible release date is 6/6/2026. He went to prison when he was 18 (he is in his 30's now) and got out a couple years ago...He then committed a couple other crimes and is back in prison again now I won't be able to see him again until he is in his 50's. It's like I've never really known him at all.

I don't get nosebleeds, but when I wake up in the morning and blow my nose, there's always some blood in my nose. It isn't a blood flow, just some blood. Is it because of dry air or what?

I previously posted a question called 'Am i mentally unstable?' I only just posted it so it will still be up. Anyways, in that question it outlines what i'm suffering. Well on top of all of those simptoms that i wrote about in the other thread, i am also finding myself having severe mood swings.One minute i can be so angry and ready to kill someone and the next i'll be really happy and hyper. I also go inot o deep trances. I can just sit and stare into space for hours without doing anything else. I usually think of this parelell universe that i've made up in my mind. I've created this person in my mind and i think about her every moment of every day. It doesn't bother me so much because i thought her up years ago and she's kinda always been there. And the otherday i cut my leg really badly with a razor. I've selfharmed before but i didn't do it because i was sad, i did it because i wanted to see blood. I am really confused with whats wrong with me. Just tell me what you think.

First, read article below, then answer..I'm not trying to convert you, but just to ponder some things.. that's all. If you want an excellent argument from a scientists standpoint on the argument that there has to be a cause (a creator) for the effect (The universe), that proves the atheists theories that 1) the universe came out of nothing 2) the universe is eternal (Stephan Hawking dismisses this theory) go against basic laws. Although, this article does not stand to present a God/Religion.. It proves that the atheist views about the 'beginning' or 'what has always been' are not sound (based on scientifically proven laws).. It wouldn't work any better than to imagine a dough nut in your hand right now and having it appear. I have heard about some military program that enlists you at a young age. My boyfriend is in it. He's 15, and he's already been through Navy SEAL training and training to be a firefighter. He says it's a long and complicated story about what this program does and I just want to know more about it. Can anybody tell me more?

Okay so one day my computer was working fine. Then when i inserted a CD which contained pictures and some other stuff, My computer started getting slow and lagging. I ran some scans but nothing came up. The computer then started restarting on its own, giving me no error message and no Blue Screen. I right clicked my computer--> properties-->and uncliked []RESTART AUTOMATICALLY.But I found out that it still restarts. Now the puzzling thing is that it has no particular time patern to restart but only when i go to Start-->run and type anything (msconfig, or chkdsk C: /f, cmd) it restarts and when i try to download an antivirus software it resarts. It also restarts when i try to look for which .exe process can be a virus online.(e.g when i search smss.exe or lsass.exe on websites)
Someone told me to go to Start-->run type msconfig and Disable all process. After doing this I cant loggin yahoo or hotmail or anything. I cant use my scanner.Now i cant undo
Im on Wndows xP sp2. HELP!
