I just looked up my cousin and his earliest possible release date is 6/6/2026. He went to prison when he was 18 (he is in his 30's now) and got out a couple years ago...He then committed a couple other crimes and is back in prison again now I won't be able to see him again until he is in his 50's. It's like I've never really known him at all.

My uncle was like that. I have only seen him twice in my life. He has been encarcerated pretty much since i was born (i'm 26). Because he keeps commiting offenses after he gets out, the sentences keep getting steeper. But if he isn;t going to obey the law, then i guess thats what he deserves.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you ever visit him? That might help you ease your sorrow. As for me, no, I don't have any right now, but if I'm not mistaken I think my dad was in prison for a while before I was born. I don't remember why though.

I have a cousin in prison also.
It sounds like he isn't the type of person you need to be around anyway.

I have a couple of good friends (well, used to be good friends) like that, but no family members. I would've been that person in my family but I figured it out and changed my ways.

One of my best friends son turned against her. He did everything bad imaginable. He got two strikes against him and then he was caught for attempted murder. His own mother had to testify against him to ensure he wouldnt kill her. And even with that she had to go into hiding because he sent out people to get revenge on her. Her life sucks now. We do what we can to help her.
