tonydgr8- can't you see the difference between a broken rule(spy gate) and a broken law(dog fighting) there's no comparison. This is not a race issue, yeah he's black but the law doesn't care what color anyone is.

also tony i beleive you said "dogfighting big deal" well obviously for some people it is you are clueless if you can't understand. 7 out of 10 people who abuse animals go on to abuse people.(colin cowherd-ESPN radio)

I thought it was funny really. The people there to support Vick, thought he was getting a raw deal. I loved it when the lawyer from the NAACP stood up and wondered why he was getting charged with a felony when its only a class a misdemeanor for dog fighting on the federal level, and that they changed the law to charge Vick with a felony because he is black. Loved it when the other Lawyer stood up and told him that he was getting a misdemeanor charge on the federal level, and the felony charge is from the state of Va, and that its a felony in 48 states to be involved in dog fighting. So funny. People believe what they want, and its obvious that the supporters of Vick in this will twist anything they want to make sure it becomes a case of a black man getting screwed by the system, when it really is just a scum bag dog killer getting his just dessert. If it had been Peyton Manning he would be getting the exact same treatment, flat out.

I laughed my behind off because it is so comical to watch the blacks try to support something that is indefensible. It's almost as good as watching Larry the Cable Guy. The only negative thing was Judge Judy was not on the show.
Tonydgr8 you need to chill dude. You are way out in right field all by yourself. Okay, obviously this whole issue is a very passionate thing for you to handle. I have always felt that the media in this country is becoming a cancer that will not go away. It seems they are more of your problem than anyone else here.

NO KIDDING! I couldn't belive the ignorance of that audience booing the Falcon's DE for simply stating the obvious that dog killing is a horrible federal crime, on a completely different level than setting up a sideline camera. I feel bad for the city of Atlanta, last night's reaction to Vick's scandal was deplorable.
No way can you compare the torture and killing of innocent creatures and sideline antics. Poor poor Atlanta.

I am ashamed, ashamed of Stonewall Jackson's comment above me! Are you freaking serious! Yes, Michael Vick F'ed up! He knows it now! Yes, it's too late, WAY too late, but he realizes what he did was wrong. BUT, let's not take it to a level that it doesn't need to be taken to. He was involved in dogfighting? Big deal. Let's concentrate on real criminals and real problems that our country is dealing with as we speak! Are we seriously going to send a guy to prison for dogfighting? What?
***sawxwoodsy,
Listen, you're dead wrong and he know you are. Look at Bill Belichick, he cheated, "flat out", and everyone knows it, even the commissioner knows it, he demanded any and all tapes that Belichick has in his possession and he got nothing. Goodell knows that this has been going on probably even when they won their 3 SuperBowls, but is he going to dig any deeper? HE&% NO he won't. Why? You tell me.
**Zinger,
I'm speaking my mind, just like the racist that say things like, "firehoses were a good idea...haha" Listen Michael Vick is in the News if he sneezes too hard. Would Harry Ballsak from Alabama get the same treatment? Again. HE&% NO he wouldn't, you know he wouldn't!
**stew pedasol,
I understand he broke a law, but what I was saying is our laws are so messed up it's ridiculous. If collen ferral or whoever you said has his facts straight and that is indeed true about 7 out of 10 people who abuse dogs go on to abuse people. LET'S PUT THOSE PEOPLE IN PRISON!!! Not the ones that abuse animals. Yes it's wrong to abuse animals. Give him a punishment that fits the crime! Prison for dogfighting? Um no. Probation and a fine for drunk driving and killing 2 TEENAGERS!!!!! What??? Are you freaking kidding me. Me bitter? Umm yes.
And FYI, I never said it was a race issuse!! I was just saying he's paying a bigger penalty for being who he is, and yes that too my friend is a crime!!

How pathetic can a person be going to some stupid town meeting to show support for a guy that killed pit bulls. I don't feel sad for Michie Vick at all. He is getting off light. Anyone else would be going to prison for 40 years. He will only serve 12 months.
Granted Micheal Vick is not mass murderer like O.J. Simpson is, but he is still scum for killing dogs.

The racism of black Atlanta is worse than anything in the last 140 years. I think those people would rather have O.J. Simpson as their QB than Joe Montana. Did you see the mob mentality of that audience? Maybe fire-hoses weren't such a bad idea after all!
