I know that you can receive $12,000 and it is ok. But, say the couple buying the house is not married. The parents of the man want to give a $12,000 gift to the son, and then a $12,000 gift to the future daughter in law. Can you get a gift from your mom and dad, to actually make it $24,000? Then, if that were allowed, an additional $24,000 can be given to the future daughter in law as well? So is that a way of getting around the $12,000 per year per person?

This is for all the naive, and ill informed. Well let me explain
what is going on, especially in America.... We are seeing a
silent hatemongering movement from the Neo Conservative
Party. And because of our president in the US, there is
a certain demographic of people who now hiw true intent is
to put their own agend, ahead of everyone else. Even if that
means, backsliding the name of religion, in itself. They just
wanna see every single group of color, be held back,
because the word is out. We will soon become the
monority, so le us fight for our own personal rights. Which is
to stay on top, for as long as we possibly can. Top of
the ethnic food chain, that is. And the humanity of those
specific people, is being threatened now even greater
than it ever has been before. Because the meltiing pot, is
now headed for a spillover. Do you agree with me Yahoo ?
Is this the main cause for racism, and why it is worse now?

I was born and raised in Prince George's County, which is on the border of Washington, D.C.

Yet all my life I've felt like an outsider and people from the county as in disbelief when they find out I'm from here. I started a new job recently and have had several co-workers ask me if I'm from the mid-West.

What's up that? Am I not Southern enough or something?

i've never been on birth control before... but i plan to go on birth control after i give birth in december...

i'm just wondering to all those women who are on birth control or were on birth control, how long do you have to wait before you start taking it after giving birth? i can't imagine taking it while breastfeeding would be healthy...

Yesterday, I had my male cat neutered. His sister cried all night for him, and I know she missed him. Today, I brought him home from the clinic, and now all she wants to do is hiss and growl at him. Why? Should I keep them separated for a while, or just leave them alone? This is driving me crazy. If anyone has been through this, please help!!?? Thank you

Lucifer and Prometheus are parallel figures in mythology. In Milton's Paradise Lost, Lucifer, the light bringer, is cast as The Adversary. In the book of Genesis the original sin of Adam and Eve was to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. All in all, this seems to indicate that there is something wicked about seeking to shine the light of understanding on life. Why, when the signature attribute of human Being is the power of choice, would this be so? Is it really necessary to check one's brain at the door of the Church? Is ignorance really our only avenue to Life more abundant? Or is the Gospel According to Thomas which begins- "Let him who seeks not cease seeking until he finds..." - the true gospel?

Caution: I do not believe in an anthropomorphic "god", so spare me the inane superficiality of the conventional, Pharisaic Christianity of Paul of Tarsus.

right ive liked this girl since school but i didnt say anything then , we started chatting on the internet n i told her how i felt about her n she told me after a while that she liked me when i found this out i was soo happy but like the moron i am i didnt do anything about it because im a very shy person ,
we stopped talking for a while because som1 told me she had a boyfriend which i later found out wasnt true ,
we started talking a couple of months ago n i told her that i still liked her she sed she liked me but now she saying lets just be friends i still love her and always have what shud i do

we both act shy around eachother i think she likes me but because i didnt do anything last time when we liked eachother i think she is scared that i will not do anything about it again

i think she is seeing someone over the internet who shes never met and i am scared that she will go meet him and he uses a private bebo account with no pictures and he lives miles away :( i love her

Does anyone know a way that I can enlarge the font for options in a drop-down list (combo box from the 'Forms' menu) in Excel please?

I am using the box on a map sheet, which is displayed at 25% of full size, and although I can make the combo box itself bigger, the text is unreadably small. Thanks.

I already have my BA degree in Spanish, & I'm disabled. My GPA is pretty low, & I wish I could get my Master's, & I'm taking extra undergrad courses to try to improve my GPA & my Spanish fluency, but my depression, anxiety, & OCD are affecting my school attendance & studying. I think I'm just wasting my time since my grades aren't improving. I get so depressed I can't get out of bed most days, & every time I go in public, I always feel like I'm about to have a panic attack. I'm under so much pressure. I already have my degree. But people are still acting like I'm a freshman & calling me lazy. It's not OBLIGATORY that I continue with school, but I'm doing this for ME. I want to do better & try to improve, but with the stress & pressure, it's not working. I feel like I'm about to die. I can't take it anymore. If I quit, would I be wrong?
