I do and enjoy it very much. I contribute to their campaign to raise funds. If they also get grant money, wonderful. NPR is a great information resource.

Yes, much of the arts programming is quite well done. I find the news presentation often slanted and have stayed away from providing my pledges during such shows.

NPR does receive grants from the National Endowment for the Arts which is publicly funded. I am not sure what other grants they receive from the government but I am aware that they do receive such funds.

For those of you who believe that NPR does not receive government funds I would like to see what would happen if NPR tried to do anything that conflicts with equal opportunity regulations, that do not apply in the same way to non-government funded companies

NPR is among the news services I check out. I find it helpful to get news and opinions from across the spectrum.

Yes, find some of their programs and news quite informative. I don't always agree on some of the ways they are slanted and they are obvious slants in some of them but heck who doesn't do so now and again.

It gives a fuller view of events and not just a few sound bites. The music is better

Yes, I listen to it, to balance out Fox News. They each represent their constituency quite well.
