I would like to know the number of persons (pedestrians) hit by cars while out walking their dogs...

That's going to be a hard one. Finding out stats on pedestrians being hit is one thing but now you want who was walking a dog too? Good luck, I googled for you and nothing.

As long as they don't jump in front of my benz then it's all good. You step in front of my car, I'm taking out you and your Chiwawa. :)

These stats aren't tracked as they serve no purpose. Pedestrian fatalities are all lumped into one heading. Getting hit while walking your dog offers no value in correcting the actions of either pedestrians or motorists to avoid future circumstances.

No we have had one lady out walking be hit by a car he siad sun was shining in his eyes and he couldnt see her.
