Give your reasons! I've tried picking a side, but I see that as both protection ans theft.

my O/s is Windows Xp, idont have MS DOS, now can i download and install Ms Dos in Xp without causing any problem. Cos MS DOS is also an operating system?

I think this is an urban myth, but my friend swears a nurse she knows told her it works and loads of medical type people do it.

The theory is, the speed camera cannot 'see' through undeveloped x-ray film placed over the car number plate.

The number plate is supposedly still visible to the naked eye, however, so if a human cop sees you he or she will not notice anything amiss.

My reason for thinking it is an urban myth is that if it was true, why don't we hear about people doing it? There are lots of people who would be lining up to take advantage of something like this if it was true.

Her argument to that is, how would ordinary people get undeveloped x-ray film, it's only available via medical channels and those folks are used to keeping their mouths shut!

If you have any facts, a web site, an informed opinion or just a good theory ~ please let me know.

i have been married for 20 years and he had affair 3 years ago i did forgive him but made him suffer for a couple of years 5 weeks ago he just left me and said he does not love me like he should and he has gone to live with his mother i have since found out he has a friend that he goes round to on evening to talk to he says she is just a friend but i dont really believe him but my problem is i love him so much and i just cant get on with out him within 5 weeks he has asked for divorce and now our house has been sold and he is giving me everything profit wise to set up somewhere else i just dont understand what went wrong and how i can stop loving him like i do i thought he was my sole mate and i am just falling apart i know he does not want me but i need him so much and he is so cold toward me i really dont understand and need some help if anyone has been through something like this i would love some advice please i am just dying inside and need help to get through this

As a small time investor & developer, what would Labour do to encourage more private small scale residential developments to help ease the rental & ownership crisis ? ALP have always had a "battler" image, dangerously they seem to reward complacency and punish the self motivated. They lost many voters who grew up in ALP households because they had the drive to make a change. Labour will hurt the small time joint venture developers, thus hurting renters and first home buyers ! They just "cant see the writing on the wall".

how much stuff should my 4 year old know by now... she knows her alphabets already (memorized and can write it out), she can do simple additions now like 1 plus anything... worry that she might be behind her age group... what do they usually teach in kindergarten?

ok my bike had just come out getting checked by pro's then i had been riding around hitting a few jumps doing doughnuts and roosts all that crazy stuff then i came off a berm and changed gears chain came off (changed gears way too fast WOOPS!) .and then i took it my dad he fixed the chain but after that it wouldnt start after like a million kicks we checked the spark plug and all that but still nothing! any ideas?! Do you think it could of seized up?!??!?!?!?!?!

It didnt work out with me and my guy, I have vowed that i would never speak to him again!! So now it has been a couple of months since. AND TO MY OWN SURPRISE I HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB OF IGNORING HIM!! But now all of a sudden he wants to ask me how i am doing, and even said you act like you are mad with me. I am still ignoring him. Why now does he want to talk to me even though i am ignoring him my answer to any of his questions are very short if any answer at all. So my friend's daughter's birthday is coming up soon (she will be 4) and I asked my friend if she liked homemade jam so I can send it to her and she said yes in the email and didn't say thank you. I also asked in another email what store she shopped at Walmart or Target (she knew it was for a birthday gift) and she said "Target" but she didn't say a thank you.
I also talked about my natural healing abilities (she did not know this before because we haven't talked in awhile) with her because with my abilities, I can and have sent her distance healing in which I talked about in another email. She said that healing helped but she did not say thank you either.
I've known my friend since elementary school but since we live in different states, our main communication is email.
How do I get a "thank you" from her without asking her directly to say "thank you".
Constructive advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance!
