As a small time investor & developer, what would Labour do to encourage more private small scale residential developments to help ease the rental & ownership crisis ? ALP have always had a "battler" image, dangerously they seem to reward complacency and punish the self motivated. They lost many voters who grew up in ALP households because they had the drive to make a change. Labour will hurt the small time joint venture developers, thus hurting renters and first home buyers ! They just "cant see the writing on the wall".

Dunno about federally, but NSW Labor has just introduced a raft of new laws designed to make life easier for landlords.

That should help the 'small investor' (as long as they aren't investing in paying their rent!).

Cheers :-)
