Have any of you moved from and large city to a small town wanted to move back to the city?

The weird thing is: I've wanted to live here ever since I'm been a young kid. I've lived in this small rocky mountain town for two years. Now I'm having thoughts about going back to Texas.

There's basically no women around my age here and just about every other person is a complete drug addict. I'm 26 years old.

This winter, it snowed so much that I basically had to stay here at home every weekend. Back in Texas I could get out at night, more places to go.

I want to like it here and I'm thankful for what I have: But the want isn't working. However, I'm just puzzled what to do.

than another division leader?

In other words, does the team with the best record always play the team with the worst record or does it always play the wild card team.

I ask this because sometimes the wild card team will have a better record than another division leader.

It's like that right now. If the playoffs started right now, the Diamondbacks would hold the top record, and the wildcard team would be the Padres.

Would they face off or would the Dbacks play the Cubs because they have the worse record of the teams in the NL playoffs?

heart ice

frozen and dry,

I have an LCD monitor VGA only, and a CRT (obviously VGA). Rig has GeForce 6600GT AGP (VGA, DVI, S-Video). Running Vista Home Premium. Questions: 1. Will Vista support this setup (I know my card will)? 2. Do I need anything other than a Male DVI to Female VGA Adapter (In Order To Utilize Both VGA and DVI Connection)? 3. Or do you think it is better to use a VGA splitter? 4. Also, does Vista allow different content on each monitor or does it have to be split view of desktop or windows... etc.? This is my first time out with dual monitors, so I want to get everything in one whack or not get anything if Vista doesn't support different content on each monitor. Please don't answer if with "Vista Sucks", "Get XP". This is what I have to work with.

Ok, heres the deal. Im in a(n) civics class in highschool and we set up countries for every period and in those countries is states and in the countires there is a president,sumprem courts so on and so forth. And i was wondering what law in the real-world is able to tax other countries. we really liked eachother, or so i thought? um... daily he would tell me how much he liked me. then yesterday he got really mad at me and finally said "i feel sorry for u, cuz i played u!". And about an hour before that happened, he was texting my friend (one that he asked to make out with, but told me he was joking) telling her that he was very pissed at me and her (my friend and i were talking about him asking her to make out with him). he told her that i was very important to him and he didn't want to lose me.

idk what to think! does he or doesn't he? was him telling me that he played me just an ego thing and a getting in the last word?

oh, and the day after all this happened, he couldn't stop flirting with me. almost like nothing had ever happened.

Mexico? And tell them to either clean up their corruption and human rights abuses or ALL Trade Agreements we've made with them will be void? We don't allow human abuses in other countries so why do we Mexico?They come here because of it so I think we have a stake in this and should make our voices heard.What do you think?

Timeless lesson on how consultants can make a difference for an
organization.
Last week, we took some friends out to a new restaurant, and noticed that the waiter who took our order carried a spoon in his shirt pocket.
It seemed a little strange.
When the busboy brought our water and utensils, I noticed he also had a spoon in his shirt pocket. Then I looked around and saw that all the staff had spoons in their pockets.
When the waiter came back to serve our soup I asked, "Why the spoon?"
"Well," he explained, "the restaurant's owners hired Andersen Consulting to revamp all our processes. After several months of analysis, they concluded that the spoon
was the most frequently dropped utensil. It represents a drop
frequency of approximately 3 spoons per table per hour. If our personnel are better prepared, we can reduce the number of trips back to the kitchen and save 15 man-hours per shift."
As luck would have it, I dropped my spoon and he was able
to replace it with his spare. "I'll get another spoon next time I go to the kitchen instead of making an extra trip to get it right now."
I was impressed. I also noticed that there was a string hanging out of
the waiter's fly.
Looking around, I noticed that all the waiters had the same string
hanging from their
flies. So before he walked off, I asked the waiter, "Excuse me, but
can you tell me
why you have that string right there?"

"Oh, certainly!" Then he lowered his voice. "Not everyone is so observant.
That consulting
firm I mentioned also found out that we can save time in the restroom.
By tying this
string to the tip of you know what, we can pull it out without
touching it and eliminate
the need to wash our hands, shortening the time spent in the
restroom by
76.39 percent."
I asked "After you get it out, how do you put it back?"

"Well," he whispered, "I don't know about the others, but I use the spoon.
