Benedict Arnold Day. For some reason we don't celebrate this man whose conscience eventually made him keep the solemn oath he had sworn as a commissioned officer. Others broke their oaths and are lauded because, as the saying goes, history is written by the victors.

I think there are top tier holidays like Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Valentines, Halloween, and Thanksgiving and then 2nd tier holidays like Labor Day, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, President's day, and then some obscure ones that hardly anyone knows about like Constitution Day, Columbus Day, Patriot's day, etc.
Every day has something made up for it like Macaroni and Cheese day or National Lemonade Day, things like that.
I guess it depends on if major retailers have a holiday sale, if there is a food or feast or strong custom associated with the holiday like Turkey:Thanksgiving, Baskets:Easter, 4th of July:fireworks.
Columbus Day and Veteran's day are probably the two most under celebrated, because it's a bank holiday and a no-postal-service holiday, but most other people don't get the day off.

Columbus Day as hardly anywhere outside of the Northeast or those cities that have large Italian-American populations th day goes by with little or no observance. Except that when you go to get the mail it isn't there. Many kids in school probably aren't even taught about this day many do not get it off.
Presidents Day- Everybody remembered it as Washington's Birthday and know it's a very generic non descriptive holiday. Known for store sales and little else.

Easter. A lot of ppl don't celebrate it and unlike in Europe, there is no Easter Monday in the US. Boxing Day (Dec. 26) is also overlooked in the US mostly because it's not a recognized holiday in the US.

I'm going to go with St Patrick's Day . . . . because of that old song, "I'm looking over a four leaf clover" - this seems to indicate that there is some overlooking of shamrock, symbol of this particular pseudo-holiday.

Anymore, I believe it to be Patriot Day. But I suppose one might make a good argument for Arbor Day.
