I think even the best premarital counseling glosses over a portion of the inherent risks and bruises that lay waiting in marriage. There’s a degree of sugarcoating that’s applied when it comes to marriage, a veneer of hope and Hallmark, sweetness and stickiness.

Recently, after years of being fake, my wife and I started being honest, digging past the mask of marital perfection. Suddenly we were arguing. We were challenging each other. The hidden hurts were not so hidden, the secret desires, not so secret.

I think the heart has a door. When you open it and allow the swell of emotions to pour out, you can’t control which ones rush forward. I cannot tell my heart, “I want to experience true love but not true pain” or “make me drunk on happiness but may sadness never touch my lips.”

My question is what have you learned about marriage? I learned being real with feelings means being brave enough to experience the bad ones alongside the good ones. What have you learned?

2 weeks ago I installed a midi controller to my PC. As I was installing it my computer froze and I had to restart it as it was the only option I had.

When I restarted the PC the fan kept spinning and nothing happended. So I rebooted it again and the computer didn't start at all !! After waiting for about 10 minutes and I started the computer again. But this time just as the XP logo came up on the monitor at startup I got a blue screen which said "Hardware Malfunction, Contact hardware vendor ".
From them every time I started the computer I got the same message and PC restarts itself.
Now my computer won't start at all. I have even replaced the power supply. But nothing happens when I turn on the computer.
Can someone please help. Thanks

I have heard that keeping bananas away from other fruit keeps them fresher for longer. But my bananas keep going all spotty and brown really fast. I like them slightly firm but can't seem to keep them and end up throwing them away. Does anyone know how to keep bananas longer.
Thank you for your time.

That is one of the most important questions anyone can ask, and various aspects of the answer are found throughout the Bible, which is also called the “Scriptures” and the “Book”. God used a man named Moses to write the first five parts, or “books”, of the Bible:
Luke 24:27, 44 “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he [Jesus Christ] expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself… And he [Jesus Christ] said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.”
John 5:39, 46-47 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me [Jesus Christ]… For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me [Jesus Christ]: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”

Hebrews 10:7 “Then said I [Jesus Christ], Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God.”

I have a beagle mix (almost 6 months old) who has recently began to throw up her food...and eat it. She then returns to the bowl and does it all over again. Any recommendations? I've changed the food, but have yet to take her to the vet. Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear Y!A:

I have been told that I could "charm the pants off of a Nun". What is meant by this? Are Nuns really that frisky? And more importantly, is this even something I in which I would even want to participate?

Please help; Sister Sarah has been looking at me in the most peculiar way...

Signed,

I don't want to kiss her Rosary

What do you think happens to a married family man once he reaches his 40s? Is it just a case of re-evaluating his life and wanting to live it to the full and not caring about the devastation he leaves behind? My husband refers to our marriage and family as having done his duty and now wants something for himself. I need to hear that not all men think like this otherwise I will have lost faith in humanity. Am I a statistic of a changing world? I have had to exercise so much patience that I am at bursting point. Last night we were watching a soap in which a man said to his wife "you know I love you and would do anything for you". I turned to my husband and asked whether he thought there were men who still said that to their wives. He replied "look at him, how ugly he is, he is just compensating for his lack of looks by saying these things to a woman in order to keep her". Does he think that he is good looking then, because he never says he loves me.

Alright it looks like we can get the win and then in the eigth he puts in Eric Gagme. Yah Gag-Me. And after letting up the tying run on four straight walks he doesnt think to take him out. Red Sox end up losing 4-3. Will the Red Sox still win the division, or does francona want the wildcard.
