I have two. One is Nascar. Not bashing it or anything but i just can't never get into to it. Watched it once & i was like. My goodness 3 hours just watching cars go round & round? 2nd one i don't consider a sport even though for some reason ESPN does is Poker. Can someone explain to me how in the world can anyone sit through that? And how is that considered a sport?

Well, i have to agree somewhat on the NASCAR thing. You do have to be in pretty good shape to do that tho. There's also a lot of stategy involved.

It's definitely more fun to do in person. I drove a BMW around a track with an instructor years ago. It was fun.

I have a highschool friend who drove the 24 hours of Daytona for Mazda years ago. I should ask him what that was like.
I'll have the opportunity to do so at a reunion on the 28th.

I'm not sure if ESPN ever declared poker to be a sport. I personaly like the game, which is all i consider it.

Yeah i would have to go with the Nascar thing also. Another would be the TV wrestling, more acting than a sport though. Guess that doesnt count then. Poker, watching poker?? I think watching grass grow would be more entertaining. Soccer, i would rather watch poker.

I watch NASCAR for the wrecks and hockey for the fights. (See, there's a positive to everything, lol.) Golf would be better if there was a guy with a putter-sized club playing a "goalie" position. The only thing I remember about soccer that I "liked" to watch was when that one guy head-butted that other guy in the World Cup (see hockey answer above). Poker is NOT a sport -- put it on TV if you must but NOT on my sports channels, thank you very much.
Sadly, IF I'm watching TV and IF there's nothing good on, any sport (pseudo or not) will do.

I don't like NASCAR anymore since they let Toyota in. I am not fond of soccer. Boring to me. I fall asleep watching golf. And Poker., too. Give me a freakin' BREAK! HOW is that a sport?!!! Pro wrestling is such a stage show that I won't watch that either.

Poker? Try Rock Paper Scissors being shown on ESPN...
That really blue my mind out.

I give every sport a chance....I don't hate any ....all are interesting in its own way. Now I favor some sports to others....but it doesn't mean I will never watch the ones I don't favor.

I will agree with you on the poker thing.
I have tried to watch basketball. I just cannot get into it. It makes for a good nap.
Even though I play golf, I do not consider it a sport. And I would rather watch bowling than golf (on TV)

I have to agree with Nascar and poker. I would also add boxing to that list. But at least boxing is a sport. (Bring it on nascar people but i've seen little old ladies drive cars)

Golf (can't stand all the whispering)
Tennis (makes spectators look like bobbleheads)
Nascar (they go and go, but get nowhere!)
Bowling (like to play,not watch)
Billiards (same as bowling)

and for me the worst has got te be

ESPN's World Series of Poker! (give me a break!)

I personally am not a fan of golf and tennis, its just too boring if you ask me.......there is way more physical involvement and excitement in the sports of basketball, football, and BASEBALL!!!! oh, and i don't see the point of soccer, i know its physically demanding but i'm not a big fan of that either
