im 16 and have some questions about faith. i was always mindful of God and believed that if i got in trouble i could pray and ask for help and i often did this, i also often prayed to just say thank you to him. within the past year or two though ive been so depressed, with thoughts of suicide and such. I continued to pray but it seemed to do nothing. i just became more and more depressed about life, about school, about everything. I seemed to get made fun of everywhere i went and no one loved me. Why would God do this to me? Ive gotten to the point where i dont care for anything in life anymore. If i was stabbed tomorrow, i would be perfectly content with that

it goes: i'm at a loss for words theres nothing to say.."(i don't know the rest of the verse..) then i think the course is: here i am once again i'm in need of resurecction only you can take this (something..i don't know what word that is..)and raise it from the dead, what a loss to the world what is far beyond redemption, only you can take this empty shell and raise it from the dead..the dead..." is there a girl and a guy version? if so, please put that down. thank you!! ^_^

I have an honest question ..


some kids at my highschool (im a junior) were talking about how white people smell like wet dogs? and africans smell like burnt rubber or "the african smell"? i have no idea what either is but can someone tell me why exactly whites=wet dog? and blacks="the black smell"?

does it have to do with diets what


(please no racist jokes or "oh your attitude sucks" im trying to find out why some people think different races smell differently..)

The governement is doing some help to the safety & security of the afghans but it is unignorable that they can't keep everybody from harm. Soldiers in Afghanistan chose to come there. They know the risks. We (canadians) have to keep in mind that it is not just us involved in this war. There are so many people who want are desperate to stay longer than Feburary 2009. The familes & vistors in Afghanistan r just as important as us. the miltary from Canada is also training the people of Afghanistan to be Poilce workers. I am not saying that people should support our troops in Afghanistan; I just want people to understand why they are there.

I am going to do the RCIA course soon and then study to become a Priest, I have just found out I was adopted but before the adoption I was baptised a Catholic, I received all the information and because I live over 100 kms away from the nearest Catholic Church I will drive there once a month and the Priest will visit me the other fortnight, I feel this is what God wants me to do and He is preparing me for the Priesthood

I approve of her relationship, she dated her boyfriend for 1-1/2 years and moved in with him about 6 months ago and they are very happy together. They live about 100 miles from us. My husband on the other hand is ashamed (hasn't told that to her but has told me) and thinks it is an act of desperation -thats how he feels about couples in general who live together without being married. When we were going to visit her for her birthday last week, we had to go to a restaurant instead of having a barbeque at their house, as he was 'uncomfortable' being in her home. I told him to accept it and love her unconditionally but he behaves like a spoiled child about it. I think he is embarrassed that 'someone' may find out... How do I deal with him?

However I have a police caution on file for possesing a stun gun 3 years ago, Im now worried that the visa will be denied for this reason.
