A woman and her boyfriend are out having a few drinks. While they're sitting there having a good time together, she starts talking about this really great new drink. The more she talks about it, the more excited she gets, and starts trying to talk her boyfriend into having one.

After a while he gives in and lets her order the drink for him. The bartender brings the drink and puts the following items on the bar:

A salt shaker, a shot of Baileys, and a shot of lime juice.

The boyfriend looks at the items quizzically and the woman explains. "First you put a bit of the salt on your tongue, next you drink the shot of Baileys and hold it in your mouth, and finally you drink the lime juice."

about four days ago, we rescued a kitty from the shelter. she was so cute and purred constantly and we fell in love. they said she is most likely an adult cat (about a year and a half) and other than that, they had no other information. we took her the day we adopted her to the vet. to get spayed and even the girls at the clinic commented on how sweet and gentle she was. the day of her surgery, she was obviously pretty mellow. but the day after she started getting super hissing and mean! we have three dogs and two other cats (ALL adopted from the shelter) and at first we thought maybe it was the intial "meeting" but now it has been three days and she STILL is SO mean. she swats and attacks all of the other animals and even us! she doesn't let us really pet her and if she does, it is only for a second and then she bites us! we have never had a problem like this with any other animals... i don't know what to do. and i am not going to just give her back to the shelter. any suggestions?

The work she's going to do is worth much more than £20 a week, but she's very honest and anyway doesn't want to get in trouble with the Social. Any advice on how I can bump up what I pay her without her either getting in trouble or feeling as though she's doing something immoral? (The work involved is only for 2 weeks)

I have become like Ecc.7:7 says but giving it my best under my unique unreal circumstances only Jehovah knows in ALL its details. I know that somewhere sometime I have seen that but I can't find it today. I have Windows XP on a computer that is about 4 or 5 years old. The message that keeps popping up says I have a corrupt file and to run chkdsk utility. It appears to be a temp internet file so I tried to delete those but that didn't fix it. Please help me find this....thanks!

My x-boyfriend and I have had a rough relationship. He has had a meth problem for many years. He now seems like he can possibly stay clean. He has a good job and has for several months. However, he still has major paranoia. He has been hurt in the past by other women cheating on him. Thus, he thinks I am a cheat and constantly says horrible things to me that involve that. Nothing could be further from my character. I broke up with him a few days ago because I was tired of being insulted and not being treated well. I know in the long run this is the best for the both of us. However, I am having a really hard time being alone. I don't want to look for anyone else because I have a lot of self-esteem issues that I need to work on. I just don't know how to move on without all these emotions getting in the way. I have no friends and no family, they dropped me because of all the drama for the last 2 1/2 years. HELP!!! What do I do??

I'm thinking about going to medical school and getting an MD. My major in college was Statistics with an emphasis on business. Everyone is telling me that with my background I should be getting an MD/MBA. But whenever I hear about getting an MBA I keep hearing that it's useless, that compnaies rely more on experience than degrees. Does anyone here have any experiences of getting an MBA and is it worth it? Also I know that if one gets an MD/PH.D school is technically free because you get so many scholarships and fellowships without even asking. Anyone know if that's true with an MD/MBA?

Ok, so w/ the Universal Healthcare plan all it does is create a country whose citizens are dependent on the government. Which in my eyes is not a good idea...I mean shouldnt New Orleans have been a prime example of this. 1/2 those citizens there were dependent on the government and we all saw were that got them. Then on top of that Soc. Sec. is a gov. run organization thats about to go bankrupt and yet we want politicians to run our healthcare system....sounds a bit out there. I say a simple little reform for the insurance co. should help out our current system. But I just dont understand why the Left is pushing this Universal crap so hard!

Anytime I dream of running...whether its running to catch up to something or running away from something I can never run, its like my legs are solid cement blocks and the only way I can get anywhere is by gripping at grass on the ground or whatever objects are around to grab on to. This is the only way I can ever run in a dream...I think I've only had 1 dream in my whole life in which I could run w/out the aid of anything. What does this mean?

Since I got photoshop, when I download a pdf file it opens up into photoshop instead of adobe reader. Is there some default that I need to change. Even when I open the pdf file once it's downloaded, it still opens in photoshop, so I have to open adobe reader first, and then look for the file. Anyone have a solution? thanks
