To ascribe a partner unto the Lord is the CARDINAL SIN.

If anyone dies doing this without repenting -------- they will never be forgiven.

I can't even conceive in my mind how you would think the Trinity is a sin, unless you are under the mistaken belief that the Trinity is worshipping 3 gods, which it is not.

The concept of the Trinity is found all over scripture, even though the word "Trinity" was devised later.

1x1x1=1 NOT 1+1+1=3

I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and counselor. All of these roles are contained in me -- yet each role carries different responsibilities. If I who am human can do this, wouldn't God be able to do it to the point of perfection? And so it was, that God the Father took on mortal flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, who suffered and died for us, and was resurrected, returned to heaven, and later returned to us again in the form and function of the Holy Spirit.

But all the same ONE God.

Yes. Denying the Trinity.

If sin were ranked by degree of severity, denial of Christ as the crucified and resurrected Son of God would be the greatest of all. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would not even be possible since He was never given the opportunity to enter the unrepentant heart. The only way to the Father would have been denied willingly.

A sin is an act or action considered reprehensible or regrettable by a certain religion.

Therefore The Trinity cannot be considered a 'sin'...

Thank you, try again.

Do you understand the trinity? If man does not understand the doctrine of trinity how could he know if it is sin?
It is God who reveals the truth to a man.
Before a man can receive spiritual revelation he must believe God.
God is one God and man is made in the image of God.
Man is flesh, spirit and soul but is one man.
God is triune but is one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Is it a sin to worship God and know him?
How can you worship a God you do not know?

Strictly speaking, denying Jesus is the Saviour and Son of God is a grave sin.

Although Jesus says He isn't the judge. Its just that if a person doesn't trust in Christ then there is no atonement for him, and he will be judged according to his deeds (which are like 'dirty tampons' and 'messy diapers' in God's view for all of us in our own goodness). Since men are sinners, and as they have fallen short of the glory of God they are actually under condemnation, refusing to believe in Jesus as one's Saviour is a very bad choice of the will. The most foolish of sins, I'd say.

the idea of trinity is true but the word trinity is a lie, its not in the concordance and its not part of the bible. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesnt know scripture.

hope that helps.

The trinity is scriptural.

Jesus and God are one. Two parts of the trinity.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Peter accuses him of lying to the Holy Ghost. In the very next verse he says he lied to God. God and the Holy Ghost are one. The last part of the trinity.

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Act 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

So if Jesus and God are one and God and the Holy Ghost are one. Then we have a trinity.

Depends on who is believing in it. For most christians, it is not a sin at all. For Jews and Muslims (I presume), it is a grave sin.

Sin?

But to clearly answer your question: yes. It would be to deny and reject the love and mercy of the one true God. AND to deny the divinity of His Son, Jesus is the SAME as denying Him.

THAT would be the greatest sin.
