When are you supposed to feel old?
I remember, it was 40 I was told.
40 arrived and then did depart,
And here I am, 11 at heart.

I eye the mirror, and it eyes me,
Together we decide we are happy.
I am content with the reflection,
Of inner youth and perception.

Age brings the wisdom of a child,
With the dignity to be free and wild.
Forever I shall remain this age,
Free to experiment and engage.

So, 11 is my life's work each day,
With years of experiences to relay.
To those of younger years,
Who look in the mirror and form tears.

Ok my car was in an accident and claimed as a total loss. I was given a rental car and to wait out the check. I didn't want to be without a car when the check arrive so i was looking for deals on cars and ended up buying one before recieving the check which they said was on its way. Now its feet dragging and sign this and that. I wanted to know since i have a car now and turned the rental car in can they pay me for me using my car? since i technically should still be in my rental.

With the divorce rate as high as it is the chances of becoming involved with someone who has an ex spouse and kids is very high. As a recently divorced mother of one son who thinks she is now ready to start dating again I am wondering what my chances are of meeting someone. I have my own house, car, a good job and my son lives with me. I have very little to do with my ex husband. However, I am a single mom. If a person wanted a serious relationship with me they would have to accept my son as well. So, my question, how are divorced moms viewed in the dating world?

We step up electricity to reduce heat loss while transmitting over long distances. The heat loss is given by I^2Rt. While stepping up the current is decreased and thus heat loss is reduced. All Right.
But what if we use Ohm's law V = IR here? Now I^2Rt becomes V^2t/R. Then when we step up the voltage the Heat Loss is increased considerably. Can someone please explain this?

This is a poll, my friends. This is not an pro-war or anti-war poll. It's just a poll. I am curious to know how far the news has spread because the media seems to be ignoring what will probably amount to a historical event, and yet they report about the rising cost of pasta in Italy. I have felt for a very long time (I am 65, male) that most sports if not all are fixed..Take basketball, how may times have you seen one team winning by 25 points but down to the last 2 - 3 minutes the game is tie.....Football you always see a pass or a run that should have been made is not. Baseball , the score is close with the bases loaded two out and 2 strikes on the batter, the next pitch is a CALLED third strike. These people are suppose to be making so much money are should be good ball players yet this happens. Is it the refs, the coachs, the players or is it just plain luck....Well I do not believe it is luck, one or more has turned a win to a loss.. With the refs in basketball and the problem with camers in football and the drugs in baseball there are a lot of problems in sports.....It has driven me away from pro basketball and football. I use to love baseball but it is started to drive me away also.. DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL THE SAME WAY AS I DO ??????

In Hungary (population: 10 million) there is a chance to win an Apple Macbook. You have to buy a kind of beer :) and on the back of the label of each bottle there is a code that you can send in through the internet.

Before the game started, a computer randomly selected two dates (days, hours, minutes, maybe seconds as well) a week. If you send your code exactly at the selected times, or you are the first after the selected dates, you win (i.e. you can win two Macbooks every week).
This game lasts for four more weeks. The beer is Stella Artois, which is relatively expensive here, so it is not for the masses.

I am curious, how many codes do I have to send them every day so it becomes VERY likely that I win a Macbook?

Rabbi Peter Rubenstein from New York’s Central Synagogue, says, “… Every human has two inclinations, one to do evil and one to do good…. Our hope is the individual tries to access the inclination to do good. There is a balance." But, he said, evil is done "when we enter that other side.”

So where did this whole "demon possession" phenomena come from? If Jews never had it, and still don't have it, then it can't be from their god. To my knowledge, there's never been an agnostic or atheist that has ever felt the need to have their kids exorcised. Same with the Pagans and Wiccans and Buddhists and Heathens. As far as I know, only people with a christian background are affected by demon possession, or even believe in it.

Why wasn't there ever any demon possession in the Old Testament? Is it just another christian invention used to scare people into believing?
