Obama is well spoken and sharp man, no doubt, but, when speaking of anything but social issues he seems forced and tentative, at best, his performance at the Senate hearings a few days ago, well, mixed, what do you think?

I agree Bush was not capable in demeanor or expertise to be President, well, a good one, but, the question is about Obama, I DON'T WANT ANOTHER PRESIDENT THAT MUST LEARN ABOUT LIFE ON THE JOB!

I agree. I like Obama's message, but he is not ready to be president.

How well does George W. Bush, with nearly 7 years of experience fair in that way? At least Obama is a Senator and has some understanding of National Politics. No one can know everything, that is true but Obama knows enough and is smart enough to catch on and learn what he needs to know. As Hillary's Vice President he will do quite well and then when her 8 years are up he can run for 8 years of his own. With all the experience, charisma, knowledge he would have he would be unbeatable.

Someone, maybe Nixon, said that the only thing that "prepares" you for being President is actually being President. Every President has to learn on the job.
And as far as Obama being "out of his league", I just have to laugh a bit when you compare his intellect to some of the other geniuses. The guy is the real deal.

He needs a few more years of expertise and experience under his belt and I believe that most of the voters are capable of seeing this. Yes, at present time, he's out of his league.
I'm pleased to see him running and doing as well as he is. He's made a major breakthrough and I believe will be looked as being a serious contender at another time. :)

Obama is insincere and not truly pro-USA. He's more interested in his blackness and his father's plight and illegal activities than he is in ensuring that the USA is brought back to its preferred nation status. Obama and his father don't have a corner on the market for hardship. I could take you places in the country that would make your heart stop because they are so poor. However, they don't take hand outs and they are law-abiding citizens of the USA. They believe that if you don't work, you don't eat and that a home is a roof over your head. As long as you can hunt, fish and grow crops, you have the necessities. Outhouses work and streams can be used as bathtubs and refrigerators. Yes, there are places in the USA where people live like this and they get nothing from the government -- nothing but grief! It's time we take care of our own and Obama is not one of our own.

Obama is a first term politician. He is doing okay right now but as the heat rises, his lack of political inexperience will become more evident.

Good question. As much as I endorse both the man and his principles, I think that this is the x factor which will, eventually, deny him the nomination, or, even, his party's selection.

Oh, okay, then, if you're going to be pushy about it....I'll have to agree with you. Experience is most certainly vital in the Presidency.
Which, of course, gives great weight to Senator Hillary Clinton. She knows all about Washington, the White House dynamic, and is experienced in foreign affairs.
She's very much qualified.

I don't think so. I have listened to numerous speeches and interviews, and he does pause a lot. I think it's because he thinks before he speaks.
