I was diagnosed with hpv last fall, I got one of the higher risk kinds. I got it from my boyfriend because I found out that one of his ex girlfriends had it. I have been with him since then.

I'm just curious if hpv is always going to spread to other people as long as I have it. And on average, how long does hpv stay in your body?

I don't understand why the world we live in is so perverted. I mean, the majority of guys and girls only have one thought and their mind and it's sick. Why do all the T.V. shows these days feature adult content, including language, drug, sexual, etc.??? What is happening to America??? And why do people wear bikinis in this country? If you think about it, a bikini is skimpier than a bra and underwear. So if you wear a bikini, it's worse than wearing a bra and underwear in public. How many of you would actually wear your bra and underwear in public? So why do you wear a bikini in public? It doesn't make any sense. America is the most perverted place in the world for sure.

OK, so for the past week and a half, I have had the feeling that I'm going to start my period, yet it's not due for another week and a half. It's a constant low pressure feeling in my lower abdominal area. It can get to wear it feels like if I don't run to get a pad, I'm going to bleed but there's never anything there. And sometimes, when I lay on my stomach to sleep, it's uncomfortable. What could this be? Any ideas would help. I don't think an infection but how could I tell? Thanks!

My boyfriend recently confided in me that he had several instances of sexual abuse in his past, mainly one which happened repeatedly over several years was by his own Uncle. I think that these instances has severely affected his self-esteem, body image issues, depression, and anxiety. He is also under the impression that all of this was his fault. He has agreed to see a therapist but is there anything else we can do? Should he tell his parents about this now that he is 29 years old (he never told them when he was a child). I mean for all we know his Uncle could be doing this to his own children now. I feel so heartbroken for him, anybody deal with anything similiar to this before?

Soldier

As I put my pen doen to this paper
the pain in my mind makes me realize
I have nothing to say. I was
a prisoner, and my captor were
these words unspoken.

Like a bottle of asprin I kept my words
hostage inside me. So many times I wanted to
pull the trigger on myself for not saying goodbye.
I felt so angry that I got the
call to duty. Maybe it because of my wife's beauty.
Or maybe it was my child's innocence.
Either way I was stil a prisoner of
these unspoken I words.

I love you. I miss you. I want you.
These are all the things I wanted to say. But I was
still a prisoner of these words. So I
sip this. smoke this, Sniff this, anything
to keep the pain away from my brain.
