No i dont think so. Hpv is a type of std but it is extremely common. They that a women of 50 got hpv at least one's in there lifetime. The only concern is not getting the type of hpv that can give you displasia (changes of the cells that can cause cervical cancer).

you can get HPV from skin on skin contact with and one who is infected.

YOu need some level of sexual contact, but you don't need to have intercourse. It's a skin virus, he could touch himself, you tough his hand, then you touch yourself, and it could travel that way. That's a real long shot, but theoretically.....
