Gout is a condition where uric acid crystals build up in the body.
This can happen in the area of the big toe and cause a lot of pain.
Our foods contain purines; some foods are higher in this than others.
The doctor may place you on a lower purine diet (of which they will usually provide you a list of foods to avoid. There is also medications that can lower the uric acid in the blood
Here an alternative way to cure gout?

There are no natural or alternative remedies for this condition. Acute attacks respond well to high dose anti-inflammatory. Recurrent episodes may be controlled by gout prophylaxis, taken every day. The commonest of these is allopurinol.

Yes, go to the Doctor. Gout may indicate there is too much uric acid in your blood. It can be a sign of kidney problems.
Gout usually starts out in the lower extremities however, as in the big toe. Cochacine will take the pain away very quickly, but can make you sick also. It is by prescription only, so see a Doctor please.

Good answers! Sometimes pain is a response to stress. To find out if this is the case, take a slow walk out in a quiet nature spot. While you walk, imagine the sun melting the pain right out of you as it exits out of your body. Smile and say thank you...I needed that! Even if it doesn't take all the pain away, it makes you receptive to all the good things life has to offer, which can over-ride the pain. A chiropractor is a good person to evaluate you without giving a lot of medicines though!

try Colchicine, its usually taken with Allopurinol. but go to a doctor first cause these drugs have serious side effects that need careful history taking and physical examination done by a doctor first before being given to patients. such contraindications are kidney disease, pregnancy, lactation, patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy, etc...
