I don't understand why the world we live in is so perverted. I mean, the majority of guys and girls only have one thought and their mind and it's sick. Why do all the T.V. shows these days feature adult content, including language, drug, sexual, etc.??? What is happening to America??? And why do people wear bikinis in this country? If you think about it, a bikini is skimpier than a bra and underwear. So if you wear a bikini, it's worse than wearing a bra and underwear in public. How many of you would actually wear your bra and underwear in public? So why do you wear a bikini in public? It doesn't make any sense. America is the most perverted place in the world for sure.

It's not just America, dear.

You can blame the media and the parents of children who do not teach them manners.

Nothing seems "out of bounds" anymore and people have no shame. Anything and everything is now talked about openly.

I don't think America is the most perverted country, but I do think that once a person does something everyone else has to top it. It escalates until we have the society that is currently today.

I wouldn't worry, I have a feeling that society is gonna pull back "for the sake of the children" and be calm for a few years then around 2011 it will all start up again. It seems that just after the middle of each decade when things are so stirred up, people try to restrain each other. This then reverses into the wildness because things have been so tame for a while.

example: flare/wide legged jeans vs. skinny jeans
bell bottoms --> tapered --> flared ---> pencil --> wide legged

back and forth back and forth. it won't end.

It's really repetitive over the decades and easy to see.

I wouldn't say America is the MOST. Every country is perverted to some (and somehow, the same) extent.

I believe the whole world is so perverted because not everyone has a religion-or if they do, they don't stick by their beliefs. The general morality standards of everyone has definitely downgraded within the last 20 years.

Hun, if you live in this country, I suggest you move. If you don't, then don't move here. Sex sells. That's the bottom line. TV shows use it, advertisers use it because it sells. As far a Bikinis, if you have an issue with them, don't wear them and don't look at people that do. You mentioned that America is the most perverted place in the world. Have you ever been to Amsterdam? Good luck.

Uh, there is nothing perverted about sex.

The idea that sex is perverted is sick.

A lot of people have more than one thought on their minds, but even when they are thinking about sex, that doesn't mean they're sick.

A nightgown covers as much as a dress; pajamas cover as much as a suit, yet people don't wear their nighties and pj's in public.

Under things are, well, under garments. They are considered private. It's not about how much they cover.

Do you wear just a slip when you go to the store?

If you don't want to wear a bikini, then don't.

But you don't have the right to tell other people how to dress.

oh come on!! they play porn on t.v. in canada... nude beaches all across europe? if anything, america is the most censored! and that isn't exactly a good thing. America has always been more discreet about sexuality!!

it isn't her bra or underwear, it is her bathing suit! and for that matter i feel sexy in my bra and underwear... thats why i wear only that when getting ready!!

your question is stupid really.! are you complaining about bathing suits or america being perverted?

It is good and normal that you seek perfect beauty, truth, justice, being, and goodness. As Humans, we look at our imperfect world and compare it to our inherit God-given perfect and infinite standards of love, truth, beauty, etc. We live in a fallen world, that is confused sexually due to sin. The true beauty of our sexuality and our bodies is hidden by lies from the culture. I'd very highly recommned that you read "Theology of the body for Teens" by Christopher West. It explains God's beautiful and magnificent purpose for our life, our sexuality, etc. God bless!

lack of moral values, lack of role models, just look around TV, media propagate too many anti-moral values, corruption, Ironically I saw in TV news story when mother was having sex with her 7 years old daughter, and beside that lady was prosituting, boy i wanted PUKE. 7 years old kid. I hope that lady will get what she deservervs.
