Have you ever cooked one in a brown paper sack? Do you stuff your bird?
I still like to cook my bird the old fashioned way, except with a twist. I cook it in a brown paper sack, it comes out very moist. I also stuff my bird.

Question Details: When referencing working mothers? What gives anyone the right to assume that because we work, we're not raising our children? Wouldn't it be just as appropriate for us working mothers to say "i'd rather support & provide for my child than rely on someone else to do it?" Or just as appropriate to say "I can handle all of my home responsibilities AND a job, why can't you?"

My fiance and his whole family have the initials DDT. Deon, Dana, Damian, Dwight, Dennis, Daniel, Devon, Dimitrius are all taken. Plus, I can not think of pretty girl names that start with D.

Hi! I need to get a hotel for the last three nights of my honeymoon in Vegas. I already have a room at Harrah's for 6 nights (thanks to my fiance's generous parents letting us use their timeshare, but it is only for a week). Here's my choices, and I'm having trouble choosing from them:

1) spend a lot of money staying at a nice hotel mid-stip (near where I'm already staying) in their basic room

2) spend half the money staying at an average hotel's regular room at the end of the strip

3) getting a super cheap room off the strip

or

4) spend as much at a cheap hotel off strip as I would at an average hotel at the end of the strip, but get a nice suite with jacuzzi

Having a nice hotel would be nice for our honeymoon, but have extra money would also be nice. I can't decide!

What do you think and why? Thanks so much for your input!

I have acute back problems due to stress and weight issues.
A friend suggested that I try massage therapy as it can help release the muscles and realign some bones. Does massage therapy realign bones in addition to relaxing tightened muscles? I thought chiropractors or doctors were the only ones capable of helping with misalignments? To clarify, I'm asking about ACTUAL massages, not the "dark side" massages.

Women should listen and learn quietly and humbly. I never let women teach men or lord it over them. Let them be silent in your church meeting. Why?

Because God made Adam first, and afterwards he made Eve. And it was not Adam who was fooled by Satan, but Eve, and sin was the result. So God sent pain and suffering to women when their children are born, but he will save their souls if they trust in him, living, quiet, good and loving lives.

For anyone who suffers from it, did/do you find it difficult, if not impossible, to give anything to a relationship? Do you feel that you have nothing to offer, and cannot give yourself to someone in a relationship? If so, why do/did you feel that you were not giving enough? Is it just a result of lack of emotional energy?

My ex is the one going through this, although we have little communication because I want to let him have his space. We've been apart for about 7 months now, but I still really care for him and worry. I've told him time and time again that I am always here for him if he needs anyone to talk to or listen, let him know that I care and encouraged him to get help. Should I continue to keep in light contact with him every once in a while? You know, just send an email or something letting him know that I care and am thinking about him? Or have I done enough, all that I can do, and should I just step back and let him come to me? I don't want him to feel I've abandoned him

Very interesting article in USA Today. I know many will disagree and that's fine. But could everyone -- believers and non-believers alike -- please post friendly, respectable answers; it will give your responses much more value. (And it would be so refreshing from the usual bashing.)

I don't know who put this propaganda together, but in essence it says that a housewifes chores of cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping, etc. have a value of $75,000 a year.
I say that is a load of crap!
First off, even if her husband did not provide her a house to live in, she would still have to do the very same chores where ever she lived.
Additionally, house keeping is minimum wage work at best,If one were to subtract housing, food, utilities, health care, car and insurance, cell phone, jewelry, clothes, vacations and more, those expenses would far exceed the value of any house keeping.
Further, using this same premise, If the services provided by the man were assigned a cash value, I.E., auto mechanic, handyman, landscape maintenance, heavy lifting, security and body gaurd, accountant, etc. a woman could not even afford to have a husband.

I believe this suggestion that a homemakers services are worth 75K is self important ,over estimated propaganda by women, Comments?

I find it increasingly difficult to buy new skirt suits. I don't like wearing trousers for work and I prefer to wear a jacket, but the shops seem to be full of suits with trousers. Anyone else had this problem?

Before I married my husband I already had a little girl whom he knew about. My little girls Dad visited her regulary but has stopped because my husband did not like the idea of my ex coming into the house to see his child. My husband wants my ex to pick up my daughter if he wants to see her and my ex has since then picked her up once in a while. My husband is still not happy because when my ex picks my daughter up he steps foot in the house. This has brought a lot of problems and I am worried this could have effet on my little girl. My husband has issues with my ex calling, has issues when my ex's mum calls to check up on her grand daughter and says he doesn't want me to be around my ex. I also have a baby with my husband and I dont like the idea of bringing up my children in a tensed environment. I have told my husband my little girl has bonded with her dad and I'm not willing to put any boundaries between them either he accepts it or we separate. Is my husband's behaviour right?

Gentlemen,

I have never hunted from a stand or fixed position (well, at least for animals anyway).

This weekend, I will be using a crssobow for the first time. I will also be hunting on a new WMA on public land.

My challenge is not unique. I will not have the luxury of scouting beforehand and also have no experience trying to get a deer within 30 yards.

Can you give me the most immediate things I should look for from a good position? I realize that I must pay attention to smell and always position myself upwind, I must find a well traveled lane, obviously all the standard hunting things apply but can you give me a precise checklist to run through miy mind when looking for a good crossbow stand?

This is important to me as I want to branch out and learn certain things that I have never experienced when hunting. I will pass everything I gain to my son.

I appreciate your help.

Ven

Calling all my fellow spekkies...I would like to ask, if there was completely safe and very cheap laser eye surgery, or perfectly comfortable contact lenses (I'm sure both will be along pretty soon), would you leave the old jam-jars behind without a regret?
