Interesting article. This is not proof. This is evidence that the Bible's claims in one part of the Bible is true. You can not prove God's exsistence since he is supernatural and proof is limited to the natural realm.

You know, in the Egyptian Book of the Dead it speaks of actual places in Egypt and Real Pharoahs too... that must mean Everything written in there is truth, thus making the Egyptian Gods true.

Also, many other religious writings show real people and real places, that makes all those Gods true as well.

If you can use that as proof, then anyone can. And, um, by the way, they have 4 different sites for Sodom and Gomorrah that archeologists are working on. Please read up on this sort of thing through the Biblical Archeology magazine.

Writings by mankind that use real places and real people does not mean that the whole of their writings are Absolutely True. You can believe they are, but you can't use them as proof For one God over any other.

Heh.

You really need to read the rest of the stuff on this site.

Ridiculous, and according to your reasoning, this is all made up, so the bible must be made up and so is God.

Here is a link to the other 'discoveries' on this site.

Including the Israelites are hiding, the Ark of the covenant and genetic proof of Jesus.

NUTS, Is this your first week on the internet? Sorry didn't read your user name till just now, I understand.

Nice article, but I would recommend taking it with a grain of salt. A number of the pictures they have of 'walls' and 'buildings' look to me like they could just as well be natural outcroppings, and there is no clear picture of the 'pyramid', only an overlaid picture that makes it a bit difficult to see exactly what the modern object actually looks like. Additionally, as far as I could tell the article does not cite any references or sources. If nothing else, these already throw the accuracy of the article into some doubt.

I think a more pertinent link would be the one given below.

There are others about the Bible prophecies like the destruction of some cities which would never be rebuilt. All atheists have to do is to rebuild those cities to prove the Bible, and its claims about God, wrong. I will look for the site.

I'm sorry, I cannot accept this, as, by virtue of the discovery of Troy, it has already been proven that The Odyssey is true. I therefore worship Athene.

so, based on your logic, if (1) we assume Jesus and Mary Magdelene existed, and (2) the Knights Templar rose to power, and were later exterminated by the Catholic Church, and (3) there really is a Louvre, then the DaVinci Code would be true, too.

Actually that suggests that certain parts of the Bible refer to places that actually existed.

Does the fact that St. Petersburg exists prove that Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment" is literally true?

once more archeology says there was truth as the basis to the tales in the old testament. ... but that doesn't say anything about the existence of god, or about the new testament.

Did you pass Engish class? Or did you have to cheat to get through the logic and debate section?
