I find it increasingly difficult to buy new skirt suits. I don't like wearing trousers for work and I prefer to wear a jacket, but the shops seem to be full of suits with trousers. Anyone else had this problem?

I have already tried Next they only have a couple at the moment, neither of which I like.
Thanks Scouse I might try your suggestion.

You could try River Island, and try a coordinated look, they've got a gorgrous pencil skirt and jacet that would look great with it (obviously displayed by each other) it's not on their website though, so must be brand new stock! I almost wish I was still working where I needed a smart outfit. They also seem to be really good quality' How about trying TK Maxx? you can sometimes find suits or skirts/jackets sold as seperates.they have some Prada in my local store at the moment

try Damart or similar - not just for o/w people or thermal wear they do have lots of other stuff also browse on line for Shoe Tailor (sounds odd but they do clothes as well). Otherwise look around for a skirt and a Jacket to team up together I did it recently and everyone wanted to know where I got my suit from. My son did it with a black jacket and a black pair of trousers - sharp!

Have you tried Matalan? They usually stock a selection of matching jackets and skirts/trousers, quite reasonable too, great for work.
