I'm very confused about my right to refuse a search of my car by a cop. (this is hypothetical) Okay, say I got pulled over and I play it cool even if i had some sort of illegal substance in my car, and I refuse a search. Then doesn't the cop normally call for a search warrant anyways? Then isn't that really not a right to refuse search?

Same with being breathalyzed. You have the right to say no to one, but can't you get arrested for being suspicious then the charges laid even harder, despite innocense or not.

To me, that doesn't sound very fair or logical. Any help? Maybe I have some of this misunderstood, but please don't preach to me about how I shouldn't do drugs or drink and drive...THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL and I'm only asking because I'm studying government in school and was afraid to ask my teacher.

My boyfriend doesn't pay taxes. Probably never will. If we get married, how can I file my taxes without giving red flags to the IRS about him? My taxes get taken out of my check so it's only fair that I get something back regardless of his past choices. Is my only option "Married filing Separately"? We don't have kids yet but plan on it soon. So whatever advice you can give me will be appreciated!

Ok I going to break it down like this....I am from chicago a liberated state...can't believe i'm usin that term in 2007. Hey guys need advice have a 02 1.8 laguna only building about 7 bar compression a cylinder 1 and about 13 bar in the rest.Put some oil in and brought it up to about 8 bar if even that.Am suspecting a burned exhaust valve maybe but am not pushed on taking the head off as the customer refuses to believe such a new car(5 years old ha)can have such a problem and isnt to big on spending some cash so any advice welcome thanks...
