I'm waiting for the save the earthworm campaign. I agree, is there no limit to what they will object to?

There is a difference in consciousness between fish and individual cells. It's not so difficult to see that life that's harmful to other life (our own, for instance) should be killed off if necessary - instead of lifeforms that aren't harming anybody.

I'm a vegetarian myself. Does that mean I don't kill mosquito's? No. But when possible I try to find other ways to avoid being eaten by them. The same with cancer cells. Since they are out to kill me (or would be, if I had cancer), I have every right to kill them. A cow on the other hand isn't threatening my life at all, so what right do I have to kill them (or be the reason it got killed)?
