different poisons react differently, thus why you need the specific antedote for every snake, Centipede venom has a certain reaction when in contact with Alcohol (spirits or otherwise)

I have a bottle of scotch with a scorpion in it. It was placed in the bottle prior to filling it, when the scotch was finished. I can't imagine them putting anything into the batch while it was fermenting. And they don't ferment in the bottle.

Can't say I've ever heard of it... I've heard of lots of trippy drinks, but not this.

I do know some centipedes contain cyanide as a form of poison. You may as well put rat poison into your bottle -- same thing. Sounds stupid.
