Contact the embassy of the country where you want to visit in Brazil so that you will be able to know what requirements will you submit.

If you're trying to get a visa to visit the U.S. from Brazil, you MUST apply far ahead of time. I'm writing from Rio and at this juncture the waiting time merely to get an interview at the consulate is four months, and that's for a tourist visa. Longer-term visas need even more lead time. Boa sorte!

If you wanna come, come but tell your fellow friends to live TIPS on the hotels and restaurants, that looks like in Brazil that doesn't exist but down here YES.
