i don't care what denomination you are or what god you worship. if there is a god, one of you out there has gotta have it right. so why don't all of you pray together for the same thing? you could pray for me to get the chicken pox tomorrow. certainly, god won't be able to ignore all your prayers. if i don't get chicken pox tomorrow, then you have to admit you were wrong. deal? and if i'm wrong, well i have to suffer through the chicken pox. isn't that bad enough?

If you get chicken pox, it won't be because of God or any prayers.
The only point I want to prove you wrong on is that God isn't some big blue genie in the sky that'll answer prayers if you pray hard enough, give Him enough faith, or have lotsa people pray for you.
God doesn't do anything that would harm you, no matter how many people prayed for it.
Tell you what, since God only does good, I'll pray that tomorrow you wake up whole and healthy and w/o a single pock on you. Then, if you do, will you believe? :)

Why would that happen. Obviously you are aware of religion and God so you have your chance now to believe or not if you choose not to believe than you have a fate set in front of you far worse than chicken pox. I am a believer and I would not pray for such a thing to happen to you instead ill pray for your soul!

God isn't a magical genie who will do whatever we want him to. I've been trying to tell my boyfriend that for a long time when he wonders why God won't give him a winning lottery ticket.
God works in mysterious ways, and nobody on earth can understand or control him. There are many people who pray daily for world peace, but that never happens, and never will until Jesus comes back. It's all part of his plan for this world.

One detail that you're forgetting....God doesn't work that way...if it is HIS will for you to get chicken pox....then trust me..you will get them! Prayer is not always answered as we want it to be...God has HIS own time and HIS own plans for us...but if 2 or more christians are in prayer with eachother, then God is there with them. It is ultimately up to God if and when our prayers are answered!!
