since i got no JOB! I want to buy a cheap laptop, I can afford to get a 2.4 GH and a 2 G Ram with Built-in NVIDIA Geforce Go 8400M-G 256MB Supports up to 1GB Turbo Cache Technology Video,
will this be able to play OBLIVION, BIOSHOCK, and any other games with Oblivion graphics? , i dont want to buy a laptop that i will regret. Of course I can get a 3.0 Gh with good ram if its a PC, but i prefer a laptop so i can show my homework to my F.A.U teacher (MAYA 8) and bring it anywhere.
thanksl for the best answers.

Hi All
Below is an article I found on Yahoo. (scroll below what I wrote if the link doen't work: http://green.yahoo.com/index.php?q=node/1570 )
It's a facinating concept I think. I have little doubt this process will be exploited at some time in the future. One thing bothers me: Once the water is burned, what will the exhaust product be? Will the water naturally reform just as fast as it was consumed? I know there is a LOT of water in the world, but if the water burned as fuel cannot be reclaimed, it's just a matter of time til things dry up permanently.
This process could sell like hotcakes. The "oil burden" would be over. Possibly the dirty exhaust would be over too. This is good. In order for this to be a harmless solution, though, there needs to be a complete cycle: salt water--> energy + exhaust --> saltwater again.
Another consideration is: Can the neccisary radio frequency be produced with enough power in close proximity to life without screwing up that life (us included!) I work with radio frequency generators and there are warnings all over not to turn on power without the proper precautions. Some radio can scramble or cook your brain. So what frequency is this guy using?
Sorry if I sound like an environmental "wacko". I just love my world, and don't want to see it a dead moon in 10,000 years.

I hope this guy does come up with something good.

Any thoughts?

J

Radio Frequencies Help Burn Salt Water

ERIE, Pa. - An Erie cancer researcher has found a way to burn salt water, a novel invention that is being touted by one chemist as the "most remarkable" water science discovery in a century.
John Kanzius happened upon the discovery accidentally when he tried to desalinate seawater with a radio-frequency generator he developed to treat cancer. He discovered that as long as the salt water was exposed to the radio frequencies, it would burn.
The discovery has scientists excited by the prospect of using salt water, the most abundant resource on earth, as a fuel.
Rustum Roy, a Penn State University chemist, has held demonstrations at his State College lab to confirm his own observations.
The radio frequencies act to weaken the bonds between the elements that make up salt water, releasing the hydrogen, Roy said. Once ignited, the hydrogen will burn as long as it is exposed to the frequencies, he said.
The discovery is "the most remarkable in water science in 100 years," Roy said.
"This is the most abundant element in the world. It is everywhere," Roy said. "Seeing it burn gives me the chills."
Roy will meet this week with officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense to try to obtain research funding.
The scientists want to find out whether the energy output from the burning hydrogen — which reached a heat of more than 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit — would be enough to power a car or other heavy machinery.
"We will get our ideas together and check this out and see where it leads," Roy said. "The potential is huge."

I am looking for a great way to memorialize and honor my grandmother, who is sick with lung cancer and was given just a few months left by the doctors. She is a wonderful and fiery little lady!

When my aunt passed away of liver disease a few years ago, my way of honoring her was to plant a tree by the Anacostia River (very polluted area) which simultaneously cleansed the river and nourished a beautiful tree. This was my grandmother's (the same one) daughter and she loved the idea -- she even got a plaque and a photo of the tree with her late daughter's name and dates. I'm thinking of doing something similar, but I don't want to do the same thing twice -- plus, I want to honor Grams in a different way.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! And something that I can do while she's still alive to show her how much she means to me would also be appreciated.

Two guys are out playing golf and one of them, Bill, asks his pal if he has a pen.

"Sure, there's one in my golf bag." and he extracts this foot long BIC ballpoint.

"That's some size of pen, Tommy!" says Bill, "where'd you get it?"

"Oh," says Tommy, "I got it from my genie."

"You've got a genie?!?" Bill says, astonished.

"Sure, he's in the golf bag, go see."

So Bill looks in the golf bag and there indeed is this tiny genie sitting in there all cross-legged and stuff.

"Hey!" Bill says excitedly, "Wow! Could you grant me a wish?"

"A friend of my master may have a wish!" responds the genie.

So Bill wishes for a million bucks. The genie claps his hands and POOF! suddenly the air is filled with quacking, feathers and a million ducks all over the golf course.

"Hmm," says Tommy, "Maybe I should have told you he is hard of hearing - do you really think I wished for a twelve inch BIC?"

PLEASE... only serious answers!
I'm interested in finding out what men find attractive in a woman (and don't focus on looks, because, really, what can you do about those? And for the record, I'm told I'm attractive, I have a nice figure, and I'm in my early 30s).

I have a HUGE crush on a man who seems out of my league intellectually. I'm not stupid, by any stretch, but I definitely don't think I'm on par with him.

I'm a caring person, I make him laugh, I'm pretty, and probably smarter than average... But how do men rank these qualities in order of what attracts them to a woman? I mean, if I can't hold my own in discussing world events, is that a big black mark? Do men even care about that? Or do men PREFER to feel a little smarter than the woman they're with?

Feeling very insecure... help!

(And again, don't bother responding if you're just going to say, "Big boobs!" Get your 2 points somewhere else.)
