since i got no JOB! I want to buy a cheap laptop, I can afford to get a 2.4 GH and a 2 G Ram with Built-in NVIDIA Geforce Go 8400M-G 256MB Supports up to 1GB Turbo Cache Technology Video,
will this be able to play OBLIVION, BIOSHOCK, and any other games with Oblivion graphics? , i dont want to buy a laptop that i will regret. Of course I can get a 3.0 Gh with good ram if its a PC, but i prefer a laptop so i can show my homework to my F.A.U teacher (MAYA 8) and bring it anywhere.
thanksl for the best answers.

8400M G is still slow for Oblivion. Better get one w/ 8700M GT.

Sounds ok, but just one question: is the processor single-core or dual-core. If its dual-core, you should get some nice detail or some very nice speed w/ minimum details.

If its single-core...you might have some problems in the detail area but should be just fine in the minimum-medium speed area.

The RAM and Video Card sound to be quite good, especially for a laptop though. Should run Maya just fine :p
