You should be able to wear:
-Pale/Neutral eyeshadows (pale blues/pinks, beige and brown)
-Mascara (Clear or Brown/Black to a Soft Black)
-Lip Gloss (Not anything too drastic. Try a clear gloss maybe with a pink tint)
-Sometimes a little bit of eyeliner (Pencil. Liquid is too dramatic for a 13 year old)
-Foundation/Concealer ONLY if you need it and make sure it's oil-free. (Only if you have freckles that you don't want, or acne that you need to hide)

I suggest mascara, blush, eye shadow, & if you want, eye liner. Also, instead of lipstick, where lip gloss. Lipstick isn't for 13 year olds. Remember, in your case, less is more. If you wear too much, people won't see the true you. Makeup should just bring out your real beauty; not make you look like someone else! I hope this helps you out. :-) For more information on makeup, read the book Middle School How to Deal. It will give some advice about how much makeup a girl your age should wear and how to apply it.

I started wearing make-up when I was 13. I would suggest using a powder compact to even out your complexion and control any shine you may have. And also buy some awesome lip gloss.
I think that each year you should add something new. Like when you're 14 add blush or bronzer. 15 - eyeliner and eyeshadow. 16 - mascara. 17 - foundation and lipstick. If you want to even out your skin, like if you have acne or some other kinds of skin imperfections, try tinted moisturizer before foundation. It's a bit more natural.
But above any kind of make-up it's important that you always make sure your eyebrows are impeccable. Think of someone who has great eyebrows and ask them what salon they get them done at. Also concentrate on keeping your skin clear. If you have acne and things you buy aren't working, then go to a dermatologist.

Well I'm 13 and I usually wear light eyeshadow, mascara and lipgloss but I don't have very much time in the morning to put on a lot. I know girls at my school who wear a ton and think they look good because it's a lot, but that's not always true. It can go both ways, you need to know how to apply it and what looks good on you.
And be careful with eyeliner!!! It can look super pretty when you put it on well, but terrible or just plain trashy when you don't.

When I was 13 I wanted to be like my older sisters and get all fixed up in pretty makeup and now that I am 25 I realize that I should have stayed a kid a little longer. If a 13 yr old must wear makeup I would suggest nothing more than a little lipstick. And a very light color at that.

In my opinion. Im 17 years old and I barely wear makeup. But stick with the eye liner, you dont want to cake your face up with make-up, it will cause your skin to look bad. Try to stay with light colors if you must wear it, like a light brown eye shadow. I would just stick with those to types of makeup.

Since you are only 13 you don't want to look too made up. When I was 13, I wore lip gloss and mascara. You probably shouldn't use foundation or power. Being at your age you are prone to breakouts which will just make being a teenage worse.

AVON has this line of makeup called Mark.

The colors are really nice and it's very inexpensive. Maybe you can check and see see if you like that...

I think that you should wear makeup if it makes you feel better but you need to use light shades and look "naturally" beautiful. Use a few shades darker than your natural color in the crease of your eyes for shadow and a light goldish color for the lid and a rose for your cheeks and light pink shiny glossy color on your lips. Nothing wrong with enhancing natural beauty. Do NOT wear black lipliner and pink lip color. Do NOT wear "working-girl RED lipstick" Do NOT wear dark, nighttime sultry colors on your eyes. You are in daytime hours and young- accentuate your natural beauty with rose shades - pink, rose, wine for the cheeks. NO DROWNING in darkness but rather accentuating the light, natural look. also NEVER forget to get that junk off your face at night. You don't want pimples and to ruin your complexion at so young an age.

I would say mascara and eyeshadow are fine for the eyes. I would think that eyeliner would be a little too much. For the lips just a plain old lipgloss would be very pretty, and since I bet that you are a very pretty girl, just a little cover-up or not even anything would be perfect from what it sounds like for a girl of your age that I bet is very attractive.

You don't need make-up yet. You shouldn't bother with it until about age 14 or 15. But if you're really set on using it, try just using mascara, or only eyeshadow. Don't bother with concealer/blush/bronzer yet--I'm 17, and I think it looks caked on and unnecessary. I never use them either. Just go with the natural look. 13 year-olds really shouldn't even bother with eyeliner yet, either, or lipstick. Just stick with mascara or eyeshadow, and maybe a pretty pink lip gloss.
Hope this helps! And good luck. :)
