Why would you want to? Let it all hang out and be proud.
It probably wouldn't harm your baby, who is well protected, but you would be uncomfortable. You have enough discomfort right now without adding to it.
There are foundation garments made for pregnancy that allow your tummy freedom while supporting underneath it.

Good grief. It's very bad for a few reasons. One, it can restrict the growth of both the baby and the placenta, and especially cause deformation of baby's feature because of constant, unnatural pressure where there wouldn't be otherwise (like the head). If you inhibit growth of the placenta by wearing a girdle, that is the ONLY source of life for your baby and it will not be getting enough nourishment and oxygen inside of you. Two, blood pressure changes during pregnancy, especially as you get further along, and wearing a girdle restricts your own blood flow and can result in very high blood pressure, which is EXTREMELY dangerous to your pregnancy. Three, there is simply NO WAY to not get bigger during pregnancy. If you did not want your middle to expand, you should not have become pregnant. Your baby's life depends on the room to grow, and on ample blood flow. You are endangering those things. If you are still in doubt, tell your doctor (are you seeing one?) what you are doing and I am sure he'll read you the riot act. Sounds like you don't really want to listen to anyone about it, though. I hope you get throw your girdle out the window tonight, or at least tuck it away for AFTER you give birth. Otherwise you are putting your baby at risk - and "smoothing things out" isn't quite worth the well-being of your child, now is it?

yes, its fine. You would have to wear a seroius corset to do any damage to the baby. they actually make pregnancy support girdles.

I wouldn't advise it. you can probably wear it up to 2 months or until the bump appears, but you do not want to cause stress on the baby.
