2day in my cooking class we were making bread. I followed the recipie exactly and then mixed everything with a knive as did everyone else. but then my bread was alot heavier than everybody elses and was more tough and didn't stretch... does any1 know why this is?

Don is camping out by a clear mountain stream and decides to make some rice. The cooking directions asks for 1 quart of water, but Don had only a 7 quart jug and a 11 quart jug. Don hates dry rice and he hates sticky rice how can he measure to exactly 1 quart? By the way he can get as much water as he like and waste it

Velocity is speed and direction.
Speed is just... speed.

My dilemma is this: If you drop two objects and there is no air resistance, they WILL fall at the same speed. However, is it or is it not relevant that they will also fall in the same direction (i.e. velocity)?

Any help with this Physics questions is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

my next door neighbor and i are friends. we talk almost every day.in June my daughter was outside leaving for her prom and i was so happy i look over at my friend and she was very upset so i said whats wrong she said i'll talk with you when your done. so when my daughter left i knocked and said whats wrong? she said your f**ken husband. he said to me is it me or did i just see your husband walk out with a spiderman lunch box. she said no it was superman. she was actually so pissed that he said that to her. and she was just going on and on then said well we think its funny that your husband likes the show airwolf from the 1980's. i guess she thought that was cutting my husband up or something. i just thought if she was my friend she wouldn't have tried to hurt me. i didn't do anything to her.plus the fact it was my happy time seeing my daughter off to the prom and all she was worried about was my husband asking if it was a spiderman lunch box! i feel its stupid. my husband was joking although i thought it was funny that a grown man would walk outside with that lunch box!!!

ok so im stuck, theres this girl that i like and weve been talking for a month or 2 now. shes been in sum bad relationships so i try to keep my distance, i dont want her to think im trying to get her back in another relationship. i see her twice a week when we go clubbing and we talk thru out the weekdays. heres the thing i always see myself going to her like approaching her and calling her. she does approach me but not as much as i do, plus i am more of the aggresser. i really want to call her, but then again i dont want to, i dont want it to seem as though im constantly bugging her, shes as kids and all so am i doing to much. i know im still in the friend zone which is fine with me cuz i told her we'd move at her pace. shud i call, wud u?

dont we all know a girl /woman who says 'no' while we kiss-touch-caress. and she gets 'dis-appointed if we stop ? Ive even had a girl ask" why did u stop ? when i replied .."coz u said no ' ...she answered back.... I didn't really mean NO!

IS "NO" just a clever way to have a defense later if she gets busted by spouse or a bf..she'll be able to say " i told him no- but he keept going.."

I asked the question earlier about what was the least dangerous job in the navy and marines and got comments like... stay home and ...ur not militray material etc... i just asked that question cuz my mom is like freaking out that im gonna get killed.

i dont really care im ready to die for the country im a superior physical shape and thinking of being a NAVY S.E.A.L. but my mom doesnt want me to die. but still......

Ok so heres the thing...awhile back my father took me to dinner and asked me how would you feel if I asked a lady out ...which wouldnt be that bad i guess...but my thing is while my mother was alive he treated her like **** ...name calling ...hitting ...i grew up in that..when i was older i fought him back i was a rebel against him...could be labeled as a bad daughter i guess since i threatened to kill him and fought back ..but i was protecting my mother..she fought back and left but then got sick ..came back and shortly later died of other reasons....i was kinda cruel...my father regrets how he treated my mom...i see it hear it in his voice but i feel like its to late...i told him to go out if he wanted to but i dont want to see it or it to be at family functions...ect...i'm not a very violent person..and tend to keep things inside dealing with him..but i dont know if i could take seeing him being nice to someone the way he should have been with my mom..am i wrong...am i being selfish
