Dear Intro, If you don't mind, I want to tell you a story.
Moses(pbuh) was a highly prestigious prophet of God. His profession was making earthen utensils and sell those to earn his livelihood.
He tried his best to bring all Isralites to the religion fixed by God. But some people did not obey and were still hostile. Moses prayed to God to destroy those non-believers and hostiles.
God then asked him to go to near the river. There he kept his earthen utensils under sunrays for drying.
God ordered Moses to destroy those earthen utensils with his famous stick.
Moses became hesitant for a moment and asked God, I had to work hard to make these utensils and I depend on these for earning my livelihood. Should I destroy these utensils?
God said, O Moses, do you feel love for those?
Moses answered, Yes my lord.
God then said, don't you think, I also feel love for that I have created? You are requesting me to destroy some of my creations! I have sent you to teach people. Your duty is teaching and trying to teach. Not to pray for destruction. If I feel necessary, I will do that.
Moses begged pardon from God and bowed down to God. He said, O God, Please pardon me, that was a wrong prayer, I will never pray for destruction anymore.
God then pardoned Moses(pbuh).
Whoever loves God must love those whom God loves.

I can only answer with my personal experience. Which will get lots of thumbs down.
I knew a muslim man who detested Jews. He was my at the time boyfriend's roommate. He came to the states from Egypt.
He refered to ALL Jews as "Money Hungry Rats."
He even stopped being playful and silly with the 3 year old little girl I was a nanny for when he saw her star of david necklace.
I am hopeful that not all muslims feel so harshly towards Jews.

Well Let me rephrase the Question..
Does Islam Preaches to hate Jews?
the answer is no, Islam never preaches to hate any one least the Jews. All the Human being are created by Allah and how can you Love Allah if you hate His creation??
Islam and Muslims hate the believe a human has which compares someone or something with Allah or any of his Attributes.

I dont think most Muslims hate Jews, but I would be willing to say most (not all) Muslims look down on Jews.
It goes against their theology to see non-Muslims (particularly Jews) as equals.
Jews are fine in Muslim eyes as long as they are second class citizens, for them to be equal or even more so on top is intolerable.

I don't hate Jews. We all go way back, to our common ancestor Abraham (Ibrahim).
I dislike Zionists (political terrorists)...who happen to be mostly Jews, even though there are some Christians who fall into that unfortunate category.

I went to a high school that had a high population of Jewish students and interacted with a lot of those Jewish kids...I didn't hate them...and I don't look down on them...
