when i look at the hispanic news i see the Mexican president encouraging people to enter the U.S illegaly instead of asking them to stay and creating more jobs&better wages so they won't have to risk their lifes crossing the border illegaly.

I saw this insect on my porch today. I live in SW Pennsylvania in a very rural area. I have seen these before but was able to capture it on camera today. Are they harmful? Do they bite? Are they poisonous? Should I have cause for concern? Please click on the following links for a view of this strange looking bug.

I know this question depends very much on specifics but can anyone help me with some rough estimates? I can find out the price of windows from a store but how hard are they to install? can I do it myself? what other costs are involved? Does anyone have window recommendations? We would be looking to improve the insulation and also block out some noise

I have seen a product advertised that attaches to the house in a similar manner to eavestoughs but instead of funneling all of the collected water to a down spout it allows the water to run off the roof, hit several louver type strips which bounce the water over the lawn.
This ensures there is little or no erosion due to water dropping in the same area constantly.

I am looking at purchasing one of two houses, one with a garage and one without. I like the house better without the garage and can get it for cheaper so I am wondering if I could build a garage. There is back alley access and a detatched garage would suit us fine. Including labour and concrete floor etc what is the general cost of building a basic garage?

I got married last week and I made my own wedding cake (22 yrs experience) so it wasnt rubbish either, anyway I delivered it to the resteraunt 3 days before the meal was booked. I left instructions of how it was to be kept, & reassured everything was fine, carried on with the preperations. On the day everyone duly arrived but there was no cake to be seen. Towards the end of the meal with no sign still of the cake & some guests preparing to leave we asked for the cake to be brought out. After about 15mins a waitress brought out something that only vaguely resembled my cake. It had been left in a fridge covered with foil for 3 days, the condensation had destroyed the icing. The resteraunt promptly scrapped the bill for the meal and are now offering us a variety of options such as: returning all guests for another meal, buying us a replacement cake or another option of our choosing. Im struggling to look at this objectively given the embarrassment, no photos etc... Anyone got any ideas!!

I have electronic speed control fan adjustments. It had 4 settings, low-high. Problem is only the low and high adjustment buttons work. Is there a relay switch or fuse that can be replaced to fix the problem? Any ideas as to why it's not working and what can be done to fix it yourself without having to take it to a dealership or mechanic shop? I'm fairly mechanically inclined but like I said I do not know what's causing the two fan speed adjustments in the middle to not work.
